No idea how it functions, Clu. Don't know if the discs go inside or if the disc is just an extra 'prop' included with the set. Sorry.

Also, the ID only comes with the LE set available for preorder on various sites for around $69. It does NOT come with the 'lesser' releases of the movie/movies. Hope that clears at least one thing up

Disney can stick these releases where the sun don't shine. A couple of pissy featurettes and that's it? Do they think we're stupid? Are THEY stupid? If they expect people to actually go buy this bare bones release they are kidding themselves, people aren't idiots, they can smell a double-dip a mile away and this is most certainly a double-dib scenario. I suspect they're doing this so they can say "Oh well people aren't interested, guess we won't sink a few million dollars into a third film" and just be done with it. Screw Disney!

Wow i forgot how immature this place could be. If you don't like my opinion that's fine but at least form your own rather than posting tired old meme's and telling people to fuck off. It's a bare bones release, if you're happy with this then good for you, i personally wanted more, something along the lines of the 20th Anniversary DVD. I'm pretty sure come Christmas or around the time Uprising starts to air they'll give us something along those lines and until then i won't bother picking this up right away, i'll wait a month or so for it to end up in the bargain bin if i bother to pick it up at all.

Yes there was a vast improvement in picture quality and sound from the original dvd and the 20th anniversary. I cant wait to see Tron on blu ray, I have been waiting for this since 1st seeing the quality of picture and sound that blu ray can give you. Disney has a reputation of remastering their movies to the highest quality of any company on blu ray. Some of disney older works on blu ray have blown me away and I am sure Tron will be AWESOME!!!
