I am running into the same problems for my story; it goes against the entire ending of the movie LoL For Quorra to not escape and be re-purposed, I would have to basically re-write the entire ending with Sam & Kevin escaping without her. It would kind of be a "tie" ending, with the good guys escaping, but the bad guys not being derezzed/re-integrated either

On that note, I would have to come up with a reason that as soon as the Flynn's are out of the AG, they don't or can't erase Clu & Rinzler

See, this is why I don't write fanfics, they are too hard to work out sometimes LoL ((RP'ing them on the other hand is loads of fun ))

Well, since everybody thinks Flynn isn't dead, and so by extension Clu may not be gone...bring back Flynn, he splits from Clu somehow (maybe the act of getting him back necessarily splits them) and before anybody can go outside and delete him, Quorra's in there and gets grabbed by him and rectified? (Of course, you have to be okay with the idea of Flynn and Clu both coming back for that to work)

It would almost be like a virus where you have it but do not know you have it until some time has passed then WHAM! LoL Only problem is that there isn't much time between when she is captured and rescued, and the end of the movie. I still will have to re-write the ending a tad, insert more time most likely and then continue the story where the movie left off or something

And I am going to make a thread for me in the RP section to try to work out my story/stories. Everyone is welcome to read and comment, or create your own thread to share your thoughts on your stuff too Might be Monday evening before I can do that but since my husband is supervising the closing shift every night this week i will have more time left to my own devices And Tues nights are always bad >_< Yeah, lets make the afternoon Agent go in at 8am for a 15 minute meeting, leave, and come back after getting 4 hours of sleep from her hubby getting home at midnight the night before o_O So sorry, had to vent, holding that in for way to long! Right, but I'm sure we don't see everything that happens while she's in Clu's custody. We see her talking to him, he tells Rinzler to take her out, right, and Rinzler does. At some point they accidentally run into Sam, but are we sure that Rinzler takes her out of the room where Clu is and that is precisely when they see Sam? Or is she possibly maybe taken somewhere else first (where Clu could infect her with something or other. Either without her knowing it, or there is some reason she doesn't mention it to the Flynns right away).

I think it's safe to say there are definitely things that happen in the movie that are implied that we don't see. Like, there has to be extra dialogue in the safe house that we're not shown, if Sam knows where his bedroom is. Sam escapes with the lightcycle but we don't see how, etc. So i think unless it's blatantly stated in the film that scene Y directly follows scene X, you may be able to use your imagination and think of something that might've happened in between the two...

That part bugged me. How did he get the cycle out with Flynn's sleeping area being open to the room. Then he goes to Sam's room and doesn't notice the cycle is gone? Considering how long it's taking to get just the original film. Back in the Outlands, Kevin awoke with a start. Sensing something was wrong, he got out of bed. In his bare feet, he padded to where his son was supposed to be sleeping.
Sam was gone - and so was the vintage Light Cycle.
Kevin knew Sam could never have gotten out of the safe house without help. He summoned Quorra.

The way I interpreted it was that Flynn woke up, felt something was wrong, ran to Sam's room, ignoring everything else, and only looked around after he found that Sam was gone. And I thought that he was asleep and dreaming of Sam, not lying there awake and thinking of him.
