Do you think it would fit on the Tron figures? There are a difference between them and other figures like Hasbro ones. Thats why the Spalko head wont fit on Quorra and just flops around. on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion Thanks to FlynnOne for the signature!

Well, this is a cast of a G.I. Joe head (which is the same size and scale as the T:L figures). Since its a cast, it doesn't have a pre-drilled hole. Basically, when you buy this cast, you get to use a dremel tool to cut out the hole so that it fits the ball joint of the figure's body.
For the Quorra figure with the Spalko head, you may end up having to either fill in a bit of the head or the ball socket on the end of the neck, so that it fits properly and not flop around.

Pretty much. All I know is that they're pre-drilled, meaning you get to drill the hole in order to get them to fit.

heres a figure i got for sam's helmetless head:
its nice coz it's already ball joint, i might not have to dremel if it fits good, and if it doesnt ill probably shoot some glue gun glue inside the hole a bit so it fits. i just have to take care of the dreadlock and that pony tail at the back, and i got my sam head. specially from the side, he looks like a decent replacement head. not necessarily the perfect one though.

Nice snag, clu.exe. I found this YouTube viewer who used the same figure head. He did a video about customizing the figures, including headswaps and painting the "circuits" that aren't painted on the figure.

Quick question, I saw the TRON Arcade machine in this figurine package
And I was wondering: Is this the same size as the action figures? I'm asking because that if we're going to be doing some custom action figures, this would be a great addition to a Flynn's Arcade playset/display. I mean, if you were going to go the extra mile and do "real world" figures of Sam and Quorra, or at least have your customized T:L figures on display, you'd want to have the arcade machine. Not to mention, I'm a bit curious to know if they scaled down the machine's size to match the figures height correctly.

Nope, they are not. They are only about 2-3 inches high so they will not interchange.
I don't know if the arcade is in proper scale, but since I have that set I can check for you. What size would it be compared to a person in real life? Thanks to FlynnOne for the signature!

Well, I know the human figurine is underscale, but I'm not concerned with the figurine that comes with it. I'm concerned only about the Arcade machine only that comes with it.
As for the comparison, I say we do two action figures (and the humans they represent) and the toy arcade machine (and the real world counterpart)
Real World:
Garret Hedlund: 6' 2½" (1.89 m)
Olivia Wilde: 5' 7½" (1.71 m)
Arcade Machine dimensions: 70"H x 25"W x 36"D
I don't know what the figure's heights are (all I know is that the scale is 1/18, which is typically 3.75 inches tall, but I don't know if they took the actors heights and scaled them down accordingly).
I've just used a scale converter for the Arcade Machine, and this is what I get.
Machine Dimensions scaled down: 3.8 inches, H x 1.38 inches W x 2 inches D
I don't know if that'll help but it should roughly be around that.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

thanks man. ya i saw that review too, actually where i got the idea for using anakin. but the real problem was which anakin to use. there are about, i dont know, a lot. the one that guy used was hangar duel anakin, you can search it, but his anakin head had less,uh,afro-ish hair. the ones i found online all had quite fatter and curlier sort of short afro hair almost. so i had to go with this one. i dont know what he did with his anakin and im hoping my custom sam will work just as well... You're welcome. I agree, the "afro" may not be the best bet, but if you're talented enough, a little bit of a dremalling and sculpt should be the answer to the problem.
Speaking of answers, I found a website that has a resin cast of the Agent Helix figure from the G.I. Joe line ( as seen here). I know a few of you guys have used this figure's head for Quorra. Though I do already have the Irina Spalko (but I can easily order the cast of the Agent Helix head), I'm beginning to wonder which of these two you guys would recommend: Spalko or Helix?order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Well, since the site I found was offering a resin cast of the Agent Helix head, I doubt the hair will be removable.
Okay on Spalko. Are there any better examples of the head being repainted to make it look like Quorra? (I mean, other than Zuses. I don't mean any offense Zuse, you did a great job on it, but I'm primarily asking to see what options and outcomes there are so that I at least know how it could possibly look like).

Just a bit of an update, since I'm waiting to hear back on the TRON arcade machine from the figurine pack I mentioned earlier, if it turns out the machine isn't the correct scale to the figures, I'll probably scratchbuild my own small-scale replica of the machine (I found a paper model not too long ago. I have both wood, styrene and thin clear polystyrene that I can use).
Also, since I'm still planning on doing a T:L version of Yori, I'm trying to figure out the best heads from the quoted section below. I've also seen a couple of new resin heads at Slayer Design Studios that may/may not fit Yori (or Quorra), but I figured I'd post the link to them here to see if there's any that stand out as useful.
CB2001 Wrote:Also, any ideas on heads for a T:L Yori are also welcome. I've been looking at some resin casts of G.I. Joe heads from Broken Arrow Toys, and a few of them jump out including "Betty", "Tons-o-Buns", "Heather" (if I want to go the route of sculpting a head-dress and making Yori into a T:L version of the I/O Tower Guardian), "Impa" and "Marai". I don't know if any of them are close enough to look like Cindy Morgan, but in case none of them do, I'll probably hit the stores and find something.
|
Additional Edit:
I just had a funny idea. I know someone here had planned on making a replica of the Recognizer in sale of the T:L figures (which sounds pretty awesome). But here's the thought I had: why hasn't someone done a T:L or a T:E Light Tank in the same scale? I mean, I know there's not any blueprints for either of them, but since we do have a lot of screencaps and concept designs for them (over at the TRON Wiki, they even have images of the Light Tank from the upcoming TRON: Uprising). I'm surprised someone hasn't considered on doing one of them.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

It's a character from the G.I. Joe line. I spotted the actual figure somewhere, but I can't remember where or what the name of the figure is. But I think the character which had the head cast is a member of Cobra.
