^I think that the "derezz the oscars day" is our next unofficial Tronnight. So some posters on here are going to see it on Febuary 27th.

At my local IMAX, it will be playing for 20 more days. I'm sure It will hang around the multiplexes a little longer than that.
I think a realistic total domestic box office will be just around the listed production budget of 170 mil.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I'm thinking next weekend should put it past $170 million. I'm guessing by Monday it has around $167 million. Hey, it made about 70 bucks more than Little Fockers yesterday. It is possible it stays on the top 10 this weekend.

Thursday totals put us at about 164.2 million domestically. Hopefully we will still be in the top ten this weekend...
EDIT:Friday estimates are up, Legacy is at number 8. So we are still in the top ten and have staying power . I think that we are estimated at 164.8 million domestically. 170 at the least is a lock.
I wonder when foreign totals will be updated...

The final IMAX experience is set on 1/2 in Hong Kong, as i'm told. There wil be three more times total and i'll see two of it. Try to help Tron foreign market.
i dont think Tron Legacy will be on theater after 1/2, so i'll have to go enjoy every minutes.
good luck to usa and other countries, especially France which will be in theater soon.

Well the estimates for the weekend are in...we were actually 12th. But we got somewhere around 2.5 million raising our domestic total to around 166.7 million. One or two more weeks and we should be at 170!

I helped improving Germany's opening weekend gross.
Btw. the movie seems to get good counts here. My favorite theatre was 3/4 filled on opening friday and I heard from other people their theatres even were sold out on saturday because they did not pre-order tickets.
Germany's gross should be around 3 million / opening weekend and around 10 million in total after close date.
Too bad the film is not announced for China so far. This country could push Legacy way above 400 mn.

*sigh* I hope I get to see it again at the theater. "We should go and see it again in 3D" said my partner. Yeah, right. Any time he's actually been not at work when I've also been home, he hasn't felt like going. Wanna smack him upside the head. Don't really feel like going by myself, don't know of anyone else who would be geeky enough to go with me.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

«Tron» erklimmt Kinothron
(Tron climbs on top)
This is the headline of a german movie and television counts website. TRON started good but had a fight with Black Swan.
310.000 people watched TRON, 290.000 for Black Swan.
That makes ~4.5 Million dollars opening weekend gross in Germany. We have reached the 370 million mark!

Alas, no. Most of my friends are from college and don't live anywhere near me anymore. I don't know that many people around here where I live now. Just not much of a chance, especially to find folks geeky enough to watch Tron.

We now less than 10 million away from reaching the final WW box office tally for Batman Begins, and 23 million away from reaching the final WW box office tally for Star Trek (2009). By next week it will have exceeded Batman Begins and will be well on it's way to outgrossing Star Trek.
Both of the above mentioned films had production budgets only 20 million less than Tron Legacy, if you count the $170m reported budget from BoxOfficeMojo (someone on this site says that the director mentioned it was actually $150m, the same as the above two titles).
Another thing is, the above two titles probably haven't made anywhere NEAR as much as Tron Legacy has in merchandising.
I know the marketing budget was about $120m, but still....
...how could Disney possibly NOT be happy with these numbers? They're fantastic! "You're messing with my zen thing, man!" |

Disney is happy with these numbers. Given how soft industry revenue was for 2010 compared to 2009, and how all the films around TRON Legacy, save for perhaps True Grit, have been disappointing the studios, TL is beginning to really shine as the big success story for Winter 2010-2011. I am quite sure when we cross $400M world-wide, the TR3N threequel will be well on its way in the development process.
