You forced yourself to believe that the BEP are stealing ideas. Your notion that this ISN'T an homage are imaginary.

Besides, even if they did steal the designs and after the concert they said "Yeah, we designed that flying motorcycle and the whole thing is a concept that we invented" why would you care? It's not your IP.

Also, if this IS as minor of an annoyance as it was, why make a thread? Why not just groan and go on with your life? Why even post in the thread? That's what you are SUPPOSED to do with minor annoyances.

I mean I'm posting in the thread because You've provoked me to. I am genuinely angry with most of you. This whole thing is foolish.

In your *opinion*. I didn't force myself to believe anything. I feel they crossed the line from homage to rip-off in my opinion. I don't get why you seem all mad and defensive now. I'm not saying "omg!!! BEP ripping off TRON Im soo mad teh Suxxors!!!" BTW, I didn't make this thread. I was only expressing my view points on the matter.

I don't care for BEP, not my tastes, but really, please stop exaggerating what I and others are expressing, cause it's just like our opinion man. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Sorry dude, but I'm not trying to "piss you off". When it comes to what I think is a musician(s) crossing the line from homage to ripping off something I am a fan of I have every right to express my opinions about that. So, IMO as a Tron fan it is "my business", freedom of speech dude.

The Tron: Digital Prophecy sequel will be a musical romantic comedy. Not only will this be a hit with young adults but the children's market can expand as the dance numbers would be easy to port over to Disney on Ice.

You should try being a Republican sometime and hearing some of the things people say about Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Jim DeMint, Rand Paul, George W. Bush, Ronald Regan, etc., most of which go far beyond anything as innocuous as "Lady Gaga looks like a transvestite."

It's not like they're going around telling people that they did the soundtrack or are officially endorsed by the filmmakers or anything like that. Pick your battles already!

Also, I don't remember anyone throwing tantrums over The Strokes like they are for BEP...in fact, I seem to remember people thinking it was pretty awesome.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPAVDHo1Elc

First off its not a fanbooy hissy fit to be upset that a talentless band has co-opted a piece of movie memorabilia for their personal gain.....That they are using in multiple concerts. Now stealing might be alright with you but not with me so if I want to complain about it Fusion, guess what I will stand up for the artists that I care about and have my say. What they did was theft as how I see it and so what if they are not telling people they are affilliated with the film or its production. This is even worse as they have stolen a piece of its image without any type of crediting involved. Do you think artists deserve to get credit for their work? If you created something that someone wanted to use, would you appreciate them stealing it and using it without your permission? Second of all Disney or any person that has their artwork stolen from them is not intitled to just let that legally slide just because a group with no affilliation to the product thinks its cool to use it in their concerts. There should be recompence!

Lastly, the reason no one make a fuss over the strokes Tronesque video is like I mentioneed before with the Civic commercial. They did just enough that one could tell it was an "omage" to Tron without being overt in their use of the imagery. Not to mention once the video rotated out of airplay it was rarely seen until someone put it on YT. No one is being forced to pay for the Strokes video airplay or viewing. That cannot be said for BEP stealing the lightcycle for their own use at their concerts.....Concerts that people paid money to go to. Money that should be rightfully shared with Disney now, for shoplifting the lightcycle!abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Xalener I personally could care less whether you are angry with me. So what if I don't like BEP and are upset, what are you gonna do about it but bitch right back at me. You have shown you care just because you like BEP and have an axe to grind against anyone who doesn't agree with your viewpoint so stop trying to act like you are some sort of disinterested party here. You don't know if they got permission to use the lightcycle in their concerts so where is your evidence. The idea that they are not giving Disney any credit shows that they are using the image without paying royalties. As a person who beleives that artist regardless of how rich or poor deserve to be compesated for their works when they are taken outright. At least I am on the side of legal justice here and am interested in seeing the right thing done. All you can be concerned with is that your precious little BEP will have their feeling hurt because no one who really sees the evil of what they did will just shut up and let them be thieves. I hope one day you create something that took you a good amount of time to invent, with the hard earned sweat of your efforts, and then I hope someone steals it and makes money off of it that you never get deserved royalties from.....Maybe you will see my point of view then. where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Explain why it is right for a music group to take something someone else made and make money off it, while not giving any credit or royalties to the creator of that item they used? I think its a fair accusation that they didn't legally get permission to use the lightcycle so until you can show me that they did, I stand on my statements. BEP are thieves and as "artists" that are invested and creating a positive image for themselves, they should be proving that to me and to anyone asking them about the use of the lightcycle. You fusion need to stop supporting intelletual property theft under the guise that it generates positive publicity. Can you prove that? No, and if Disney needed BEP to garner them publicity, I seriously doubt they would be spending money on television ads and so on. Like I said before if BEP wanted to give Tron Legacy free publicity because they like the movie, the thing to do would be to tell others by word of mouth to go see the film, buy the toys whatever.....Not steal a key prop from the movie and act like they are somehow involved in TRON.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

The problem is they aren't generating a single dime with the lightcycle...in fact, it probably cost them a ton of money to buy/build. People aren't going to the concert to see the lightcycle, they're going for BEP and the music they made.

I've worked in film & A/V production for a decade and I can spot infringement when I see it. This ain't it.

Besides, how do you know they didn't get the cycle from Disney themselves? All we've seen is a couple of cell-phone videos on YouTube. We don't know the context. So everyone here who is condemning the band is jumping to some massive conclusions.

Trust me, I used to work for Disney. If this even smelled a little like trademark infringement Mickey's lawyers would come down on that band like the wrath of God. There's a lot worse things in this world than a super-popular band paying tribute to the films you want to be a box-office smash...they could be not doing so because your film is a bomb. So, new rule: no speaking for the producers unless you're one of them, ok?

Besides, I think a dress made out of dead Kermits is far more offensive than Taboo looking quite awesome on a flying lightcycle.
