That has been happening way too much. I have seen this at least 3-4 times now. The head snapped off of their TL figures right out of the package. Now this is not to beat up Spin Master, QC has been suspect at other companies. The plastic and or construction needs to be fixed.

So, I went to Toys R Us because of the sale and I still felt like I couldn't justify dropping money on the larger figures because of my audio issues (:P)
The sale is nice, but I felt that I pretty much got everything that I could and as of right now, it appears that Target has far more than either Toys R Us and Walmart does. I went back to Target and got rest of the minis (but I'm still missing one which is Sam and Rinzler (FOR THE THIRD TIME) only Sam is holding a katana, I believe.)
So I need to get to a Super Target to see what they have. @_@

yeah my lower leg on 3 inch Clu imediately snapped outta joint and is a pain to get back into place and it falls back out very easily

Woohoo! I bought the last deluxe identity disk at Target today. Apparently, they've had the toys for at least a week or longer because quantities seem to be low. No Kevin Flynn light-cycles and only one, banged-up Light Runner. There were plenty of the 3.75" figures as well as the 7" and 12" Sam Flynns. Not a whole lot of Deluxe Sam Flynn cycles either, but they had them. Plenty of the die casts and mini figures, though.
Although the packaging for the disk I bought was in poor shape, I had to have it anyway. I'll buy another one later down the line for posterity's sake. I noticed one Light Runner at both of my local Target and Toys R Us. Both were in banged up boxes...weird. Lots of Kevin and Sam cycles left though. Personally, I like the Light Runner more than the Sam Cycle.

only think i like about the light runner more than sam's lightcycle is the light effects and the color. then again sam's color is like a weird half white half blue type of color anyway

I'm just surprised that I haven't seen the larger recongizer playset at the stores.
Hmm, I guess I should check Super Target and possibly Super Walmart as well. @_x

In that set of mini figures, that's Quorra with the katana. I guess she fights Rinzler too. The mini figures seem to be the only set she appears in at all. I'm guessing (hoping) that eventually they will release a set of figures from Evolution. That would be awesome.
I went to Toys R Us today and the sale was indeed on, but there was nothing I didn't already have. However, I did find a nice 1/15th scale BTTF Delorean with sound and lights. :-) So I went to a different Target and they had a lot more. This time I found the light cycle launching baton. It was only $15, which is great because online its going for $30 and up. Still no Recognizer figure case or 12" Clu figure though. In most cases, Target seems to have more Tron Legacy merchandise than Toys R Us and Walmart. I haven't noticed any exclusives at Walmart, so I guess only Target and Toys R Us have exclusives. Target has the most exclusives though. Even the baton is a Target exclusive.

Yeah... though I need to recheck the packaging, I could've sworn it was Sam.
(It's confusing having Quorra wear a helmet because we haven't seen her with a helmet in the trailers unless I'm blind and missed it.)

Oh THAT one. That one is Sam, but its not a katana in his hand. Its the blue wave of him swinging his disc around. The one to the lower left of the one you have circled is Quorra and she does have a katana. Whats funny is that I've seen some packs with her in it where her sword is attached backwards. o.O

Went to TRU and got a partial refund on one of the figures I got because of the "buy 1 get 1 50% off" sale, woop woop.

I saw that one and was tempted to get it, but I've already got the 3 1/18th-scale BTTF Deloreans and the new 1/15th-scale one isn't as movie-accurate as the ones I've got.

Yeah, it does kind of look like that. Just like with the guard and how it looks like he has an energy scythe. lol
Oh, I'm a stickler for detail too, but I have very little BTTF merchandise. I think about all I have is the old Micromachine set that was released years ago. I saw the ones that hold the mini figures, but they look too much like a Happy Meal toy. I couldn't pass this one up.
The baton I got is pretty big. It doesn't have lights or sound, but it does extend slightly and launches a light cycle. I want a ban also because I want bigbangbilly.exe to be unbanned. Actually, the little mechanism that launches the cycle just got stuck, so now it won't even do that. Hmmm, I'm sensing some quality control issues here. I'll have to take it apart or something to see whats wrong with it. Either that or just go exchange it. Had to do that with Kevin Flynn's light cycle too. My Clu had the exact same problem. But I took him back and the replacement I got is fine.

I've not seen the larger Recognizer either. Not sure if I'll get it yet or not. I went to TRU today to get my receipts adjusted (one of the few times I bothered to keep a receipt!) and they still didn't have much. I was happy about the sale though... I got $33 back! That's a huge savings. The sad part is there were NO sales signs on any of the Tron merch. Not a great way to promote a sale.

Went to TRU today, no sale :-( I guess it was only on Saturday. Even on the website the sale is no longer.

Still can't find that one mini even after I looked at Super Target. (Both Super Target and Super Walmart had the same thing.)
So, yeah, I'm guessing that more stuff is going to surface as the movie comes closer. x_X
