Ah, Apple III. That was a beautiful computer back then. But Apple IIe is the most famous of the early systems, and I think the last one was the IIgs (not the IIc, although that was an interesting design not too dissimilar to C-128).

Oddly, the Apple III was 16-bit. Hmm. Does that mean CLU was a 16-bit program taking on ENCOM's servers? Now that's hilarious if you think about it.

EDIT: Actually I think it was Apple IIgs that had an 16-bit architecture, not the Apple III.

This original concept is brilliant. They should have went with this in the new film.

My wallpaper cycled to Siren Jem and it accured to me could she be an ISO hiding right under Clue's nose? There's got to be something significant about the white outfit. And by her giving Sam his gear, she could be equipping him to free the system. I notice that Flynn's outfit is white/gray as well.

That is interesting. Maybe, he's a copy that has been altered by Clue to do his bidding. I wouldn't be surprised if the mask folds back to reveal Tron's face. Sam backs off seeing Alan's face and this leads into the scene where Clue meets Sam.

Or it could be that Tron has been so focused on "enforcing the law" that he stopped questioning the laws he was enforcing. Sam possibly makes him see the error of his ways through out the movie.

The official website clears this all up. White circuitry = Activist, although, I find it odd that Clu would employ activists as wardrobe suppliers. Maybe Flynn programmed the colors that way, and the programs are not aware of what the colors mean.


As far as 6:45, are we sure that isn't Sam Flynn? I cannot say without a doubt that it is either father or son. What makes me think that it's Sam, is that the person he's choking has orange-red circuitry... When did Tron have orange-red circuitry, if ever? My thought is that either Rinzler is Tron and working as a double-agent OR there is some sort of "sleeper" code in Rinzler that pages Alan in the real world, and will play a part in Clu's downfall in the movie...

And that could be a possibility, Tron somehow losing his way in so many cycles ago, that he ends up becoming blinded by upholding the law.

@ CaptainCR: True, most photage from trailers are peiced together from different scenes to make it look like something else, but, why is it that most of the Scenes in the trailor part of the video always fades between each scene? Why is that part the only "non faded" Scenes mash-up? Kinda strange if you ask me. But, they may probably be just egging us on with it as well. Still so many mysteries.

@Goat!: Maybe the sirens "White circuitry" is different compared to everyone else's, because they are also White suited compared to most other's being black. So maybe they aren't Activist, but something else? And I know you can get a white suit on the main site, but, the Sirens seem different. Not sure in how, though.

And as for the 6:45, that's not sam because of how the circuitry is lit. Sam doesn't have circuitry on his hands, yet Rinzler/Tron does. And as CaptainCR said, that it's probably Clu (yellow) choking Tron (white). Not Tron choking Sam, and I don't think Sam would call his dad Flynn.

But never thought that one of the programs could have some sort of code that would contact Alan after sometime. That's something to think about.

Ah. I just watched it again. For some reason I thought it was Rinzler on the ground and Flynn giving him the beat-down. Now I see it's Tron struggling with Clue. Is he saying, "Flynn No!" or "Flynn Go!"?

If it's "Flynn Go!", then maybe it's a flashback sequence showing how Flynn escaped Clue. Clue defeats Tron and changes his programing.
