The movie is based around the idea that Flynn used his computer adventures as the basis for a video game & toy line. There are slight differences between how things look in the movie universe and how their counterparts look in the real world. And Flynn based his 3D renders on how he WANTED things to look, not how they DID look.

I wasn't looking for flaws when I watched it, but was instantly distracted by how Clue's mouth looked. Also the head moves a little strangly. Like it's a little off with the body movements.

I don't believe the CGI is finished. If it is, I'll be disappointed. All the other programs look completely real. There is no distortion in terms of the elite programs. If Clue is the most advanced program on the server then he should look as real as the others. He shouldn't look less real than his lower version self from the original Tron movie.

Well, they did say they are working on the VGI till the very end polishing it up. Although, I'm actually impressed just by the fact that THAT actor of Clu's is still Jeff Bridges. I actually love how "fake" his face is because he's still just a program. I wouldn't doubt though, if they make his face more like the effects test from the first add(??). I know more people will be happy with that face, and I'm sure that is what we'll end up with when the movie is done.

Also, for "dreaming" about the computer world in the first one, it was late at night. He could have possibly thought at first that he accidentally fell asleep at the computer with out realizing it. Could also be that after he got hit with the laser, he probably thought he was knocked out. For the second movie, the dreams could be about his "Mad scientist" within him being obsessed with his new found knowledge of another world he can control with quite possibly absolutely endless possibilities.

He said dreams not a dream. And he said something wonderful happened. I took it as that something wonderful was him getting zapped into the computer world. A world he had never seen before. And it can't apply to his second entering of that world, because he had seen it before in the first Tron movie.

The fact that he was using the same laser tech to go back into that world tells you also that he didn't think his first adventure was a dream.

I think he was going to tell his son about his first adventure in the computer world, but disappeared before he could. Maybe he wanted to test it before showing his son, but never came back.
