Thanks again Wheat. You rock, but at the same time frustrate. WE NEED PICS!!! Or at least need to know what it is. Have the higher-ups said when it will be shown online?

PS
I'm I the only person here that thinks about the new toys daily?

Seems like the plan is to get the Comic Con exclusives out to the media sometime in May. We're still doing a lot of fine-tuning on one of them, so I'm happy you aren't seeing them yet where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

For some reason, and this may be silly and totally incorrect, but I have this feeling that one of the exclusives is that deluxe light disc we saw earlier. Not as much of an exclusive but an "early" release of the one coming out in October. Hmmm, curious. Although I would love the exclusive to be a figure and a light cycle.....wishful thinking. abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I'm glad to hear that there will be toys (hopefully) at SDCC. I'll have to ask my pals to pick me up some merchandise if I can.

PS: Gotta say, you're totally lucky wheat king. I've been trying to break into the toy business for awhile now and it looks like the economy has pretty much put those plans on hold.

If the SD CC exclusive is the delux Light Disc I *will* buy it (if it's for sale and doesn't cost an arm and a leg).

I want the light disc more than I can put into words.

"Wheat King";

Alan Van Dalsem here, I was wondering....

My birthday is on July 21st and will fall on the Preview Day of San Diego Comic Con 2010, which I will be attending.

I wanted to find out if maybe you are going to be at the Spin Master booth on July 21st, and if not that day, what day and time do you think you may be at the booth?

Second question:

I would deeply and with great fervor request you hold 1 of the SD CC 2010 Tron Legacy Exclusive toy for me, as a favor since July 21st is my birthday?
I hope you can grant me that 1 birthday wish and hold one Tron Legacy toy for me so I may purchase it either on July 21st or on the day that the Exclusive toy becomes available for sale at SD CC 2010?

I will be ever so grateful beyond words if you can in any way grant me that one birthday wish.

Dude, if you're going on Preview Night just go buy one like the rest of us, or whatever day they go on sale. I'll be there as well Preview Night and the other 4 days, so I'll try and get as many extra Legacy exclusives as I can for fellow members here.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Yeah, I tried that last year, and an exclusive toy sold out so quick on preview day only 30 minutes after the exibitors hall opened, that I had to get it off of ebay for $63 when it was originally $30 at SD CC....

Ouch!

Hope that doesn't happen again.

I'm not sure yet when I'll be down there. I'd like to be there as long as possible, at least thursday through sunday morning or something like that. Usually I'll just go thursday and friday nights. I don't know what Spinmaster or Disney have planned exactly, but this year I want to be around for as much Tron stuff as possible.

I don't know that I'll be able to hold any exclusives. I'm hoping that I won't need to, and that they'll be available to whoever wants them. But, based on your previous experience at SDCC, that doesn't sound likely. I'll do what I can, but I can't make any guarantees.
Can't wait for July

Hey wheat king,

I just wanna take this opportunity to say a big thank you from the admins and all of the fans here for your fantastic work and insider info. We really can't wait for these toys and we know they're going to rock. Thanks for supplying us info before we started going crazy from lack of news.

Out of curiosity which exclusive was that? I go to SDCC every year, and every year I score all my exclusives on Preview Night. Sure there are long lines but that's the usual at SDCC or any convention. I stood in line for about 2 hours last year to get the MOTU He-Ro figure, which was one of the most sought after exclusive last year and it still took a few days for it to sell out. Point being, don't worry. You should be able to score your Legacy exclusive. While we are all die-hard Tron fans and REALLY want it, I don't think there will be thousands of people trying to get one. Good luck!

This is the exclusive I was refering to.

It's on Ebay again for 69.99 now.

http://cgi.ebay.com/SDCC-2009-ROBOTECH-Stealth-Fighter-TOYNAMI-EXCLUSIVE-/400111330755?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d287e65c3
I have suspision that there are a few greedy people that buy like 3-5 of these exclusive toys at SD CC and then auction or sell them at 30%-40% more than what they were sold for individually.

So then some true fan of the anime or movie (in this case Macross) that gets to the booth around 30 mins or so after the Exibitors Hall had opened and is told by Toynami reps "we're all sold out" and "check back here on Thurs at 4 pm; we have some in the back....)

Then on Thurs I get there at 3:50 pm...
I ask the reps there (the guy with a Toynami badge I talked to on preview day wasn't there) and they say oh we sold out of the last ones at 11 am....
(that's when I was in Hall H for the Tron Legacy panel)
{ grrrr.... i was very very NOT happy...}

So I don't know who was bullsh**ing me or who wasn't bullsh**ing me.... :/

A Tron nerd and a Star Wars nerd offering to try and get us folks who can't attend a nice deal on some SDCC Tron stuff... THIS is the real hero of this thread as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for trying for us, man!

LOL, no worries dude. Once we find out what the exclusive will be, how much it will cost, and what the limit per person is, we can then open another thread for those of us going to make arrangements to pick up extras for those not going. Hey Wheat, if we get enough interest here on the boards do you think you can put us in touch with those who will be running the Spinmasters booth to see if we can possibly get a "group order/sale"? That's more the way to go than asking for Wheat to hold for just 1 person.

New to posting to the boards, but long time lurker. I am working on a custom Flynn figure in the style of Marvel Legends, and hope to post pics up as soon as I complete him. Looking forward to the upcoming figures, I just hope that they look good.

Hello, I'm posting here for the first time. I've been lurking for a couple of months and would have posted sooner but the hard drive did a crash and burn. I know its been asked before, but I don't know if it has been answered. Will Spinmaster do any figures based on Classic Tron? I'd also be interested in hearing about how many points of articulation these new Tron Legacy figures will be packing? I'd like to thank you Wheatking, for any info you can throw this way. It's sure turning out to be a long wait for SDCC!
