Damn the wait to just even see some pics is torture, let alone having to wait until October to buy them. Come on now Disney, wet the whistle..........

I wonder if Spinmaster will also release TRON toys (meaning 1st movie) just like Hasbro's Iron Man line...

I don't know why Friday, specifically. It seems like Disney is very protective of Tron Legacy, which includes the toys. I think everyone sees the potential with Tron as a big, big movie property (which is awesome), and really wants to control how and when ANYTHING is made public. Apparently Thursday Disney and Spinmaster will be having some private events, and then Friday everything will be out on the floor.

I believe the SDCC exclusives will be visible before the actual show, though. Probably in the next couple months we'll have something on toynewsi.com or something like that to get people excited. I'll try to find out when they will be available to buy, though, and let you guys know so those who are going can plan ahead. The Legacy toys will be available in the UK. If you need specifics I can talk to our international team. We even have an international exclusive... your retailers are demanding out there :P

Wheat King just gives and gives! Hopefully the stores will do better than they did with Transformers movie toys, buying too many of Wave 1 so they never order later releases. Several toys will never reach the UK as a result - maybe not as lucrative market as the US but we usually pay double for stuff.

Consider me primed for the Argos autumn catalogue...

Yea, its basically final product. At this stage we're just making sure the product is secured well and displayed well in package, that printing is looking good, colors and paint are accurate...minor adjustments. The steel molds are built etc, so this is our last chance to comment before the factory goes full steam ahead.
