WTF! NOT connected to the internet?
I actually find that a bit dissapointing. The implementation of the internet was one of the things I was looking forward to. I hope it is wrong. It seems a bit wierd a single server should be stowed away for 20+ years running. And, if so, without any I/O that world should be static, Looking just the same as in 81.

I personally think this is good. It free's the film up so it can take place exclusivly inside the Encom system and it isn't forced to show every bit of computer evolution from 1982. We get to see what has evolved within it and what Flynn's being inside it has caused as well. For me this is a plus, and it makes the threat of what could come out bigger.
