Mr. Sinistar Wrote:I just discovered something neat. Olivia Wilde is going to be in "Year One" an adventure comedy directed by Harold Ramis. Ramis is the director of Caddyshack, which we all know started Cindy Morgan's career. It's interesting that two actresses that had/are going to appear in a Tron movie both had early roles in movies directed by Harold Ramis.

Also, in a interview with The Daily Beast, Wilde talks about Tron 2 a little bit (no new details):

How’s TRON 2.0 filming going—are you getting any sleep?
I'll sleep at Christmas. Filming is going well. We are shrouded in secrecy so the only scoop I can give you is that the blank really did that amazing blank stunt in the blank blank with other blank.

I have a musician friend who both played a part in that movie and did the music for a bit of it.

Deadly Disks Wrote:Man, I don't want to know ANYTHING about this movie. In the past, when I've learned too much about a film I was excited for, I ended up being underwhelmed by it.

NOT THIS TIME!

Yeah, same thing happened to me with the Simpons movie. Almost all the jokes were shown in trailers, and they were not as funny in the theater.

That was the April Fool's joke I posted on my site. I placed a link at the end, where if you clicked on it you would know it was all a joke.

There was also the April Fool's joke here on TRON-Sector, which I had a part in as well . . . about Uwe Boll taking over as director.

Both aren't true. No need to worry.

What I really want to know is why Disney is formally announcing titles to be released up to 2011, and yet they have still not formally announced TR2N. All announcements about TR2N I've heard about from Disney so far have been along the lines of "oh yeah, there's that TRON movie, yadayadayada", like all under their breath. It's like they don't want anyone to know about it unless they are looking for it. And considering how many people know about this sequel, or franchise for that matter, which really isn't a lot, it kinda worries me that this film is going to nosedive the TRON franchise into it's final resting place due to the same reasons the original movie and TRON 2.0 failed.

Unless they really pick up on advertising after ComicCon, I think this film will sell really poor at the box office. I'm not doubting it'll be a great movie, just doubting Disney's ability to actually make people aware of it. order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Disney seems to do have a bad habit of really sneaking Tron-related stuff-- I'm sure it came as a surprise when they were issuing 25th anniversary Tron pins at Disney Parks a while back (of which I got mine <3) ... I'm pretty sure they'll have a 30th.

Speaking of which, I wonder if they'll have TR2N pins as well because I noticed that they were already selling some Up stuff. (Not very much, just one pin, a book and several plushie dogs-- one is Dug)

Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

Anyone think we'll see anything at E3?

Probably not, but that's what people would've thought about Comicon 08, too.

I think they're really gonna pick up on advertising this movie after Comicon 09. That convention hall is gonna go completely ape. They'll need riot control squads around Disney's booth, lol.

That's wierd. I thought Disney had a booth this year. Although, I heard the last time they had a booth no one is quite impressed because of it only showing Hanna Montana and other games based on their current T.V. shows. Then again, I don't know what else Disney would show.

If they have a booth this year, they better show something worth it.

errrr....if they want I guess. They can keep me surprized too I guess. I don't think they'll show anything TRON related...not sure...abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Maybe it's too early... They have their own pop stars you know, Daft Punk could do a trailer without disney... lol.

That could be the case. If they don't have anything to show yet, they won't be able to.

We'll find out eventually. No need to rush I guess.

They might. Though I know they cut the Disney Publishing booth a couple of years ago. So much for the "comic" part of ComicCon.

I'm going to SDCC this year(look for the short guy dressed as the 80's goggle sporting snake eyes ) and I was hoping that maybe some new news would appear since last year had the trailer.

Be cool if disney struck a deal with a comic book adaption or prequel for the film and released it early. Possible Slave Labor Graphics could jump on it. eh? EH?

A prequel would be interesting, but an adaptation (from a strictly creative stand point) significantly less so. Unfortunately, I don't think that either will happen with SLG. I'm sure the license will go somewhere though. We'll probably hear some news in the next year. No inside information here, mind you. Just a guess.

Eric Jones and I are both special guests this year at SDCC. We might (might) even have some Tron: Ghost in the Machine trade paperbacks by then. So come by and see us at the SLG or DC Comics booth.

Kool, I didn't know SLG had a booth, i'll stop by, but your a special guest?? Who are you and how did you get a job at DC? Do you know Roman Dirge? Because If you do check if hes alive and ask him for his email, for me please.

I know adaptions don't leave much for creativity but a majority of films get it so idk. If only Marvel still did movie adaptions. they were the BEST. where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

SLG has a booth every year. It's right next to the DC booth. I've been a comic writer for most of two decades, which is how I ended up working with DC. Also I wrote comics in nearly every issue of Disney Adventures for the last 8 years of the magazines existence. And I (co)wrote the Tron comic.

Roman is alive. He has a LiveJournal account he updates infrequently and a website that is updated about as frequently. He's also probably playing World of Warcraft somewhere. Maybe.

Just saw a article that claims Disney's first D23 Expo - Sept. 10-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will have Tron 2.0 sneak peeks, although Disney doesn't have it in the brochure on their D23 website, nor did this article state the current name of the upcoming film.
