Man - I get chills EVERY time I see that! Even though there are some elements I don't care for, this thing gets me frickin' pumped up!

I was talking to my wife earlier today. I had to tell her how excited I was about the TRON sequel. She asked when it was coming out. I said in 3 years. And she looked at me like I as all crazy for this being excited about a movie THREE years in advance... and then she laughed.

About the realism displayed in the trailer, this movie is going have to say alot about Tron for it to be attractive to me, with teh right mix of suspense.

If you compare it to the matrix, yea fine everyone ripped Tron off w/ thier brand of computer science environment, with which I'm fine, let Neo run into flynn and then get his head split, but atleast it explains something. If it's nothing like the way Tron 2.0 the Continuation is written, I'll send them a box full of burned computers.


The LC imagery was very dynamic, I am suprised - the details are hard to make out from the video, but that was a real game, the blue guy thought. I can't imagine yet how well done it is, so they put it out there just right, I'd be floored if I saw that live (actually, I am anyway).

It may look real, I seriously doubt they will let this become a turd. I'll burn my computers.
I agree as several of you mentioned, the original cast needs to be rezzed in.

I know they can't f it up because it's Tron. Yet I'm not happy that Lisberger isn't the Director.. meh

I was amazed when I first heard that Jeff was in the clip. Since Tron 2.0 and rumors online, I was under the impression that he would never be interested in doing Sci-Fi again..... however, Bruce and Cindy seem to like TRON and not only did the voices in the game, but also showed up to a lot of conventions signing. So.. I'd love to see them in the film too.

I'm not opposed to Disney doing a costume change, but I would like to see the design show some hint of the detailed circuit style that we are familiar with. I thought the updated look in Tron 2.0 was really well done. I do like the cycle suits a lot but I just hope that it's more of a gaming suit than a program/user design when they are not in a game.

.... but you know what? Beggars can't be choosers I guess. I'm just so freaked out over TR2N that... well... it's really unexplainable.
