Sorry to double post here, but another Vancouver resident seemed to be recording stuff from the early movie shootings. She says Tron 2 is coming out in summer 2010, which we all know isn't the case since they just started filming.

Anyways, what does this have to do with Mr. Sinistar? When I clicked the link to watch the you tube video he posted, it was on the list of related videos.

EDIT: Holy smokes . . . I've come into possession of an interactive version of the magazine, and the TRON article is in it! I don't think I'm supposed to have this.

I'm not going to post the images because I'm afraid Empire would come down on us like of ton of bricks. But I CAN read the article and tell you what's in it.

About the Empire article. If you're after sequel news, don't bother. Waste of time. It's a two-page article with a retrospective of the first film.

EDIT: As it turns out, I may only have the first two pages of the article. There might be more. So the mag might still be worth checking out when it hits the stands.


To prove I'm not BSing about this, I'll quote a portion of the article. Then when it shows up on the news stands, you can check for yourself.

The glowing tracks and lightcycles that defined the 80s and revolutionized computer generated images in film are back, and this time it's a meaner and moodier reboot.

That's really the only part of the article I've been able to read, that's worth discussing. The rest is just info you can find elsewhere about the original film, regurgitated for newcomers to TRON.

It's still a sequel. But they're trying to say that it's more "mature" than the first film, I think.
