Yeah, my first reaction was "this is fan made".
But, if this is something Daft Punk threw together as a demo then . . . it's very, very bland. Disappointing. The original bit of music that was heard in the Comicon trailer was much, much better.
I'm hoping our first suspicion (fan made) is the correct one.

I know what you mean. You can't count how many "I'm just seeing the movie because of so-and-so" comments I've read over the last few months.

That is so obviously fan made. And besides, even if it is Daft Punk, it's a demo and a poorly done one at best.

please, no more talk about cindy morgan or wendy carlos...
about the music.. it is actually pretty nice, incl. the effects, ambient strings, interesting sound. the heavy toms are a bit too much matrix. wendy theme in the end is a big no. cutting out original fx is a bigger no. it's bland, but the effects are interesting.
but in this particular scene, it doesn't need any music, esp. not at the start. I'm still thinking its fanmade.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

I agree, the music is pretty nice, but still needs some work. I also think it's fan made.
Usually (actually always) when producing a score, you have to be able to watch the movie with only the music alone.
The person who made this should have left out the sound effects completely and just focused on getting the music to fit the scenes. Then after, he could have put the sound effects back in. I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

EDIT: A very interesting note. I noticed that the name of one of the stunt actors looked familiar. When I check out his resume, I found out that he was in Tron! His name is Loyd Catlett and I think he played the conscript that talked to Flynn after they were briefed by Sark.
"That's Tron, he fights for the Users."
EDIT 2: Turns out he's Jeff Bridges stunt double. He's in practically every movie that Jeff has made.

Quick update.
The special effects for Tron 2 are going to be done by Quantum Creation FX. They've worked on I Am Legend, The Happening, Watchmen, Star Trek and Where the Wild Things Are...this is proof that the effects are going to be epically awesome.

No, she basically said that Wilde, Garrett, Swan and one other actress are in Tron 2. That other actress maybe Cindy Morgan. She may still be in talks and that's why things are "hush-hush" and why Swan didn't mention her by name.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Blinks. Did I miss something? I haven't come across any news about Quantum Creation FX becoming involved with the sequel.
Ah, I see it now. It's listed on IMDB, but a bit obscure to find.
Quantum Creation FX (specialty costumes and practical lighting effects)
They're doing (some, if not all of) the practical effects.
Digital Domain is still doing the CGI, in case anyone thinks Quantum Creation FX is doing everything now.

I found the specifics of what QC FX is doing, on this page:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104001/companycredits
And if you visit Digital Domain's site, they still list the sequel as one of their projects.
Nice find, by the way. You have a sharp eye for spotting that.
But why is Bruce Boxleitner still listed as "rumored" as having joined the cast? His involvement was announced on his official site. IMDB is a bit behind on some things.

I'm very curious who made the music. Listening in high quality really makes you appreciate the sounds.

I don't think it's high quality at all in reguards to the test reel.
The music needs work, it sounds ripped, and doesn't fit an advertisement. Personally, I would use this music in a ocean filming fish or something.
I thought you made it yesterday when you phrased the question like you did.
I like the music, but it doesn't fit the video as just about everyone here has stated.
Just google it, I'm sure you can find it...
No offense to the person who made that video!
