I'd assume because when TV and film are great, the parody is fun, and I guess this is what they come up with. I don't think they take this seriously.

Honestly, it's alot to take in, and nobody here has seen that site until now... so why not network to us - who will read it and atleast make a friendly gesture of acceptance to reprove your thoughts? It just doesn't seem personal.

If I were to walk up to the execs at Disney I wouldn't just have a blog to show them. I'd write fan fics and illustrate them on a storyboard, even a video would be adequate.. This stuff isn't a one man idea to cook up either.

But it looks like HF has alot of nice things to say about TRON, besides the negative stuff - for the most part I agree with him on what "brand" the new TRON will have.

He and people like us who want to say what is right for TRON are going to have to TRUST them. They aren't going to screw it up. Daft Punk isn't going to make you squirm, and the acting will be better than we expect, I'm sure. So get over it already.


What gets me though, is - there's even morons posting crap at imdb.com that isn't even TRON news, or accurate just because it rebuts Daft Punk's work.

Journalists don't make an article for Reuters news,(New York Post I think) and the next day just take it back. It was complete BS.

These are heavyweights in journalism, then you have bozo on some site saying nuh-uh.. To top it off, IMDB won't remove the material, stating that "they are media which reports to IMDB" or something to that effect, which btw is one reason I cancelled my subscription to IMDB PRO.

It ends with wendy tron theme, seems out of place. and the music is too fixed on whats on screen. it's action music while its just a race between 2 cycles (which need no music).
