I might be taking your comment out of context, or maybe not? Hopefully not. I don't think we should forget about Bonnie unless she had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of Tron. I think she co-wrote Tron, though, so her long time absence from Tron shouldn't mean we boot her from the Tron world. We should only forget about Bonnie if Steven and other reputable sources say Bonnie had nothing to do with Tron. We've heard David Warner doesn't really care for Tron (... or something like that). If he hasn't had anything to do with Tron since 1982 does that mean we should forget about him and his contributions? My apologies if I was incorrectly taking your quote too literally...

I agree she should maintain her historical credits for TRON. They were given to her, and that's that. Was she a driving creative force on TRON? In my opinion no.

I was primarily reacting to someone's suggestion to bring her back for TR2N. Based on the few things I know of her, that is one of the worst suggestions ever in the TRON world.

I will not elaborate any further than to say she is not necessary to the TRON world in any way.

I never suggested to bring her back DaveTRON, I just asked, regarding Mr. Lisberger, "Did he work any new story ideas on TR2N with Bonnie McBird?" However, I'm amazed (if not shocked) to read such statement of yours... I know you know THE man, and I respect your opinion, but how could you state that Bonnie McBird WASN'T a creative driving force when she made fundamental contributions to TRON??? She may have not been a creative driving force as Mr. Lisberger was but, Why do you think she was credited for then? "Machine typing" Mr. Lisberger's script? She was the first one meeting Mr. Alan Kay during 1979-1980 when doing the research needed for TRON's story, THEN Mr. Kay met with everyone as Mr. Roger Allers attest in the Special Features 20th anniversary DVD (which is a key moment in TRON's development), THEN she married "the guy developing basically the concept of Personal Computers", NOWADAYS she's still married to the guy responsible for "reinventing programming" and you say she's not necessary to the TRON world in any way...

I'd love hearing you say that directly to Mr. Lisberger next time you meet him...

His answer sure would be some TR2N News...order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

VRAM. I already said I would not elaborate. It's my opinion based on things I have in my posession and other conversations I will not share here. Think what you like.

I'd like to see Flynn's favorite license plate (FX 81 04) included somewhere in TR2N.

EDIT: I forgot... and the infamous "GORT. KLAATU. BARADA. NIKTO." yellow sign in Alan's office too!

Too organic. Looks ridiculous.

ShadowDragon1 Wrote:Jet, Mercury, and Yori in the deleted "love scene" in TRON looked pretty good IMO.

Looks terrible to me. And a deleted scene hardly counts anyway. It was deleted.

Greetings, Programs:

I mentioned in an earlier post that I'd be emailing Wendy Carlos to see if she was involved in TR2N. I don't know if I can post her verbatim response (wouldn't I have to get Wendy's consent to post her email to me?), but she basically said that the reason no one from Disney contacted her, was because TR2N was supposed to be a computer game, not a movie.

I then emailed her again, mentioning to her about the clip shown at Comic Con and also all the other information posted on-line, as well as giving a plug for tron-sector.com.

I hope that Wendy is just confusing TR2N with TRON 2.0 the video game. I guess we'll see come 2011. Talk to you programs later. End of Line.

Thanks, VRAM. I'm surprised that she replied so soon as it seems she's got a TON of stuff going on. I'm awaiting another response from her from another email I sent.

Other burning questions are (sorry for repetition if so)

- Will we see Flynn's Arcade?
- Will we see Encom? What's the status of it?
- Recognizers and Solar Sailors? Most probably updated for the new Millenium!
- Repesentation of Malware, Trojan's and Virii (maybe see a Symantec easter egg!
- Other Disney Easter Eggs? Most surely. (Don't call me Shirley)
- Dumont resurrected?

Stuff I ponder.

Tr2n Wrote: They were good times and I actually had programmed a c64 tron game in basic which had some machine language subroutines. I had my own version of light cycles and it was also a text type adventure.

A text adventure light cycles game?! That is so awesome! I can only imagine how it would be like:

You rezz into a strange room with white lines on the ground. a lightcycle appears around you and you begin zooming forward. There are other people in lightcycles.

>Examine lightcycle

It is blue.

>Left

You turn left. There is a lightcycle wall ahead.

>Shield break

'Shield Break' is not a valid command. You have crashed into a lightcycle wall! Game over. Reboot your system to try again.
