Nice find Qix77. It'll be cool to see these characters Fighting the Ring battles. But Rinzler is still a Puzzler as in why does he have two Disks when everone else has one?

I noticed the 't' chest emblem months ago and am aware that the only program in the digital world wearing it can only be The One.
If you're puzzled, step back and think about what police officers or ATF law enforcers do to shut down gangs. Or better, the Mafia. How do you take them down? You can't do it in plain sight, so one has pull a "Donnie Brascoe" (hint hint).
So, Tron is a security program, an equivalent of a real life police force, yes? If he has evolved, then he would know something about a trojan horse.
I think you are all LOOKING at him the whole time in the trailer. I think it's quite obvious how they're playing this story leading to Tron 3 (possibly).

Kind of surprised not to have seen it on here yet (maybe I missed it), but /film reports from that article in Empire that David Fincher has seen the rough cut and gave Kosinski some notes on it. Definitely cool to see the director of Fight Club and Benjamin Button giving his two cents to Kosinski.

For those that think this is a sign of bad news, keep in mind even Star Wars: A New Hope had other directors giving Lucas notes on the rough edits.

A most interesting development, yes? Brad Bird is a genius when he did The Iron Giant. I've a feeling The Koz saw some of our threads on here and realized he may have regretted some things and wanted to make some changes.
I've a feeling they're trying to beef up the characterization and plot between Flynn, Sam and Clu.

Awesome! Tron Legacy script/plot/storyline gets an upgrade for it's re-shoots.
I think this bodes very very well for the movie having a strong plot & storyline.

Yes, her many friends and supporters still would LOVE to see Cindy Morgan in TRON Legacy. I know I will still keep the hope that she'll be included in a cameo right up to the release date. As Cindy always states, "It's Science Fiction. Anything can happen."
Plus, they brought her in for Wondercon and she's attending (flies in Wednesday night) Comic Con this year. It boggles my mind why she hasn't already been included as a special guest at the TRON Legacy panel at Comic Con 2010. How many times is there going to be the chance (it's VERY rare to have all 3 original stars in the same place) to have a photo with the original stars together 28 years after the movie?
Cindy is the one who is out there with the fans and the people. Her supporters don't take it lightly when she's excluded from the very franchise she's faithfully promoted all these years.

Yea, but man, you gotta understand, the script didn't call for her OR Yori, so putting Cindy in there would be absolutely useless and would come off looking like bad fan fiction.
And Kosinski said it himself that just because Yori isn't in Legacy, doesn't mean she isn't in the Tron universe still, so wait for the video game or the inevitable sequel, where she'll no doubt make an appearance or end up being a pretty big character.
The script was just reviewed by some of the most, if not THE most respected directors in the business, but you're still crying foul because Cindy isn't in it? Honestly, that's pretty childish.
There's 5 and a half months to go, the re-shoots should take about a week or two, just let it go, it's not happening, and if it does, it'll be really jarring and misplaced like most fan-services usually are (see Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut, or hell, the theatrical version!).
It's integrity for the storyline vs. What a somewhat average size of a fanbase wants. If I were kosinski, I'd go with the former.
