Actually if you look closely the Tron Ad is pealing off the old Space Paranoids ad. The pasted the Tron ad over the Space Paranoids one after the Tron game became a big hit. So yeah, either they changed the format of the ad because they could or they pasted yet another revised SP ad over the first one.

You're partly right - but let's be real: where is that money coming from that they'd be making when the movie comes out? Or more specifically, out of whose pockets? The pockets of the people that would be going to see it, buy the picture books, buy the video games, and all related media, right???

I really can't imagine that the Disney Corporate Pocketbook (TM) would take that huge of a hit if they were to delay a *trailer* for four days. It's not even the movie. The movie isn't even coming out for... let's see... 289 days. I mean, I want to see the trailer, too -- and I doubt seriously I'll be able to see Alice opening weekend, so I'm going to be looking for it online -- but really, Disney could delay the release of the trailer for months and it wouldn't affect whether I'm going to see the film. How you choose to spend your money is, of course, up to you. ;-)

The fact is that what anyone spends here on Tron ticket sales, merchandise, video games is just a drop in the bucket - so I really don't think Disney would care if the preview got pushed back four days and someone here is pissed.

Regardless if the sequel seems to have most things pointing to that it is going to be good from a fan perspective, Disney is a company. It's all about the bottom line and they're more interested in getting casual "Joe Moviegoer" into the theatre, rather than a bunch of Tron nerds like us.

BUT I hope it goes up Friday, even though I got my Imax Alice tickets, so I'll see it anyways!!
