Dang Todd, that does look pretty dead-on. You'd make a good character on the cartoon.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Yeah - it did turn out much like me... I mean for a cartoon me. I think it's the facial hair that help sells the likeness.
You should give it a try, MutoidMan. It's fun to be a cartoon... well, ok it's fun to see yourself as a cartoon.

That would be so tight if we all made like, a tron-sector mini cartoon. Or comic strip. Not like a major thing, or something necessarily on a Tron story line. It could just be about Tron sector. And the characters could be the Simpsonized members.
It could happen.

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been around much lately (as if anybody here even remembers me by now :P). I'm not derezzed, really...just resting! Er, paused? What would be a good word for "resting" for a program...
Anyway. Since I love little character-making deelyboppers, personality tests, etc. I just had to try this one. Unfortunately the only picture I have of myself that's a close-up on the face, at the moment, is not that large, so I had to resize it. The result is that the first version of the Simpsonised me looked absolutely NOTHING like me. However, it got me In, and after I had access to all the _options_...
THAT is me as a Simpsons character. Pretty much.
On a semi-related note, anybody here ever tried making themself or their family members as a Sim?

My sister did once. There was this really funny part where the Dad Sim was using le toilette in the same room that the me Sim was taking a bath in. At the same time. Lol.

Hey Pulsewoman!
I think "sleep mode" is a good term for relaxation for a program.

Sleep-mode, yeah. Paused, off-line, downtime...all of those work too.
Anyway. I did a picture of my whole _family_ as Sims, but it's not as good as I would like. For one thing, the outfit I had available that looked anything at all like what I actually wear around the house, also had high heels. (A) I hate high heels, and (b) the main problem is this makes me the TALLEST person in the picture, when in reality I'm only 5'0"! :P
And my cat needs to be fluffier. Heh.
But here we are...sorta...
My Family
Note: I am not really a goth or anything, this is just the only comfy, casual looking outfit I could find (Sim females are forced to wear tight and/or revealing stuff almost all the time!), my dad no longer wears hats like that but he _used_ to all the time, and my brother is not really ALL the way bald, he just likes to keep his head shaved for convenience' sake.
I put us into Strangetown, since that seemed appropriate in more ways than one (heh) and am not going to actually _play_ the family...I'm going to just let "us" be NPC's in the backgrounds of my _other_ Sims, as visitors, and see what "we" do on our own when my hands are off the controls. Disturbing yet amusing stuff like, which other character walking into the room will make "me" go "Heeeey...." (heartheartheart dreamyharpmusic) at him on her own, stuff like that. :P
I also made up a Sim of someone I know on another messageboard, at his request, and a Sim of a character a friend of mine made up years ago--both got favourable reviews. Yay.
Also, I recently got two new outfits for my Sims that look like _circuit board patterns all over the body_! One in green for a guy and one in blue for a woman. I haven't yet made up characters with them, but I will TOTALLY show you guys screenshots when I have. If anybody here has Sims 2 and is interested, I got the outfits from Parsimonious.com, in the "Alien" theme category. I think you don't need any expansion packs.

Hey - nice job on the Sim-family photo! I'd say it looks just like the real family... well, that is if I had a clue as to what they really looked like. He he. Back in the early 80's, I used to mow the lawn for a guy who wore a hat like your Sim-father.
I didn't realize you were in to goth or anything...
Note: I am not really a goth or anything, this is just the only comfy, casual looking outfit I could find... |
... er, I guess you're not.
Sorry - just being silly. Honestly, I didn't even realize it was goth-style until you mentioned it. Just looked like a black outfit. Black is my favorite color... I'm not goth or anything, although I am pale white, often wear black, have a zillion piercings and chase after cats on a full moon. Well, minus the last two. I've actually met several really cool goths, so I'm not implying that they chase after cats on full moons, should any of them be reading this.
Ok, now that the Sims have been brought up in the Simpsonized thread... can anyone show me a SIMpson?

Well, I do have a yellow custom skin-tone I downloaded from somewhere... :P Not THAT yellow, though. Still, I could do a bald fat guy in a white shirt and blue pants, I guess...
If you've ever seen that live-action Simpsons theme-song thingie, I have a feeling the SIMpsons would come out looking a smidge like that. Normal-textured, seperate-from-the-head blonde _hair_styles for Lisa and Bart, that kind of thing. They'd be horrible mutated freaks, with no overbites and five fingers on each hand! (snicker)
As for me being a goth...yeah, that outfit isn't _really_ like that, but it just kind of amused me that the only one I could find that was even remotely like something I would wear, was all black. :P I have nothing against goths and in fact have had friends who were, but I just don't quite fit into the label myself. My favourite t-shirt colour and pant colour is black, and I sometimes wear them together...I _own_ black fingernail polish and black lipstick but only occasionally wear them...I like fancy "occult" looking jewelry and old black and white horror movies, have been known to read the occasional fantasy novel starring a _good_ guy vampire or werewolf if I felt it was well-written, don't get along well with sunlight, am TOTALLY a night person, and can enjoy the occasional darkish pop song, if it's catchy and/or pretty.
However, even all in black, I can still walk down the street and just look like some random nerd chick in slouchy clothes. Heh.
I totally need to go make one of those cyber-Sims, now. I was SO looking for an outfit like that months ago, when I first joined the Sector, but couldn't find it at the time. I did, however, find custom-made Sims of several Reboot characters (yay!) and already have Dot Matrix living in Strangetown, across the street from my family.
That's one of my favourite things to do, with the Sims--make up characters from all different things that I like--and then instead of making sure they fall in love with the person from their own universe that they actually did (or that I think they _should_ have), etc. I deliberately toss everybody in together and then HANDS OFF, and see how people happen to get along on their own! Random cross-universe stuff is much more fun.
Anyway. Shutting up finally...

That would look very strange. Simpsons without overbites and an extra finger on each hand would be like a Vulcan without pointy ears!
...but I just don't quite fit into the label myself. |
I used to think I didn't. Then I realized that "weird-o" was a good fit - along with nerd and geek. He he. I wear all of those with pride, too.
My favourite t-shirt colour and pant colour is black, and I sometimes wear them together... |
Black rocks! It's my favorite color, period. I'd wear black all the time, but I don't care to keep dry cleaning or replacing my wardrobe so frequently. Unfortunately, many black clothing items fade quickly.
I _own_ black fingernail polish and black lipstick... |
Me too, but I only use them when I'm really hungry. Somehow black lipstick always tastes better when chased down with black nail polish. What was that I was saying about being a weird-o?
Seriously, I dig the black lipstick and nail polish on women (depending on overall look, that is).
I totally need to go make one of those cyber-Sims, now. |
I think that would be cool. I've noticed that all Sim characters tend to have a very distinct similar look, so it would be challenging to make SIMpsons in there. If you have the time to do so, make sure you post the results here. In fact, why stop with the SIMpsons? Why not recreate their famous living room with the couch as well? There are detailed photos of their house out there if you look. Hell - one guy even built a real-life replica of the Simpsons house! Very cool looking and authentic inside and out.
Here's the living room:
I did, however, find custom-made Sims of several Reboot characters (yay!) and already have Dot Matrix living in Strangetown, across the street from my family. |
I always think of "Dot Matrix" as (on the right):
I remember Reboot, but don't remember the character "Dot Matrix" on the show. I'll google that in a moment.
Well, here's to the SIMpsons, should you get them Sim'd up.
