Re: I've been Simpsonized!

Yeah...about labels...I am perfectly fine being a nerd, and call myself that freely. The only reason I don't call myself a goth is that I am clearly not one, but I do like to say I am "at least 50% goth" sometimes. :P I lack the dedication to wear makeup and fingernail polish all the time--especially the polish, which is annoying to put on and wear for several reasons.

Not sure about the SIMpsons, that would require me to download a lot more stuff I don't already have to re-do the living room...and I haven't had much luck with re-creating houses in the Sims before. I have attempted it with the Morgendorffers from Daria and the Possibles twice (once on each game), and both times only came near _the basic idea_ but didn't get the specifics.
Problem is: Even with really good screenshots, which of course DO exist all over the place, with the Simpsons, it's really hard to keep looking back at them _while the game is running_. You can go back to the desktop, but it drains system resources sumpin' fierce every time you do so, and it would have to be a lot of quick looking back and forth and back and forth and back and forth...so the end result is I end up decorating by memory every time _anyway_.

Also I have not found Marge's hair, and without THAT, she just plain will not look like herself at all. Ya don't have something that instantly distinctive, you might as well just call it quits right there. I do have a blue hairstyle for females. But it is light blue and NOTHING like hers. :P
On the other hand, with the weird morphy stuff you can do to face-bones in the second game, I _might_ be able to do something along the lines of those overbites...

Dot Matrix I normally would think of the one from Spaceballs, yes, but since I recently became a "Reboot!" fan, the name now means BOTH characters to me. Heh.
Unfortunately the one I downloaded from ModtheSims2.com didn't have her original outfit, that "Major Kira" esque one (I SWEAR, that's totally what it reminds me of. It SO does!) but instead her more serious looking all-black "battle" outfit from later on, during that major story arc they go into around Season 3. I also have "Bob", although they didn't get his silver hair right (then again, it _would_ be hard)* and Mouse, aka the character I currently have as my avatar. Again, with her Serious Days outfit instead of the original.

*When I say "silver", I don't mean it in the usual metaphorical sense, meaning, in reality, "white". I mean SILVER. As in, _metallic_. Flowy silver shading, like a liquid mirror.

I now actually _have_ Major Kira's outfit, and I'm tempted to put it on Dot to see how it looks on her. I also have a Bajoran skin-tone in all different human skin colours, as well as a Romulan one (the game _comes_ with pointy ears already, so I could make Vulcans any time I wanted), Trills in different colours, and Cardassians! And some different Starfleet uniforms. Wicked-awesome stuff. I love the people who make all these things, and then let us non-programmers download them for free.

ANYway. I will now show the two new "Cybersims" that I got recently...I didn't make these outfits of course, but they are cool. I deliberately tried to make the skin and hair in similar colours to the outfit and also give the hair wild styles that make it look kind of like, I don't know, electricity or something, and the eyes really bright so they look glowy. Everything I could to make it look like these people might be "made out of" energy. The skin colour is supposed to be like, the "glow" of the lines on the outfit is giving their face weird lighting, kind of a deal. It would work better if they were in a dark background, but ah well.
With the guy, I kept the pages' worth of outfits I was choosing from on the screen, to the side, so you can see a small sampling of the wild custom-made stuff I tend to download. Heh.

There are only two rules for success in life:

1. Never tell everything you know.
