Tron in school...sorta

on Sunday, May, 27, 2007 12:01 AM
Just got back from a class trip to Washington D.C. It was pretty awesome there, what with the monuments and history and museums and really cool buildings, but that's beside the point. It's an eight hour drive on a coach bus from Ohio to D.C. Luckily, these buses are tricked out...with three SDTV's on the bus and a a severely outdated DVD player. So, naturally, after being told we could bring movies to watch, first thing a pick up is Tron. Lo and behold we watched that movie twice, once there once back. I'm so glad my class mates can accept moderately dated cinema and agree that it was a breakthrough in computer graphics. Tron is great, and I think that my spell check program should agree with me that the word "Tron" should be in the dictionary. 'Nuff said. Ooh, and "Nuff" too. And while I'm at it, how about "Chakra." That is a cool word. Man I do love getting off topic. Did you know Wuhmen is my dictionary. It says "A slang term as it is the common misspelling of 'Women'" Did you know gullible isn't in the dictionary. Go, go look it up. Hah! See! I just made you go get out a dictionary and see if gullible is really written in the Dictionary! What? What's that you say? It really isn't? Well I guess I'll go look but...Wait a minute! You're just trying to make me go look it...Yes, very clever, but not good enough. I have outsmarted all of you with my correctly punctuated sentences and brilliant wit! Well, it's midnight and I should really stop writing. OMG! MIDNIGHT NOW!! WOOTwhere to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

The only reason I've signed up for a computer arts class at my school (besides the fact that it sounds totaly awesome) is that the teacher uses Tron in an example and makes people model a project out of it. Only reason I know this is 'cause I had a bunch of Tron picturues on my binder (Tron and Gary Numan, actualy) and people asked me if I was in that class....

...any teacher who has the students watch Tron is okay by me

In our biology class a couple of months ago, we had to make posters on the immune system. For mine, I represented all the viruses and cells with 3D Tron characters (the phagocytes were tanks, the pathogens were grid bugs and the lymphocytes were Recognizers).

It took me about 10 hours in total over three days (one hour on day one, then nine hours continuously from 4:30 pm on day two until 1:30 am of day three! ) to make the grid bug and tank models (I'd already made the Reco previously), assemble the 14 comic frames and do any processing in Photoshop. It took way, way longer than I thought it would!

Anyway, the teacher thought it was excellent, but when I asked him if he'd seen Tron he commented, 'oh, I must have missed that one'.

I'll find somewhere to host the .doc file and show you all soon.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
