Funny you should mention this, Todd, because last night, I had a pretty intense nightmare. And considering that all of my dreams are completely bizarre and strange (for example, familiar real-life locations are very different and very surreal in my dreams) my fear/phobia(s) intensifies in my dreams. Sometimes, when I really need the sleep (or I'm just too lazy to wake up ) I can't get up easily and have to sleep through my nightmare.

I get a lot of that in my dreams. I remember in one particular dream, the office building I worked in was enormous and had long, twisted catwalks all over the place - they kind of resembled the twisted branches in anything Tim Burton might produce. In my dream, this office was perfectly normal. In real life, the office is 1-story, no catwalks, and very mundane. Nothing as cool as what my subconscious conjured up in my dream.

Often, I find myself in different places I've lived, and they each have very different forms than they did in real life. Many things are transformed, twisted, and distorted in dreams. That's part of the fun. It's like looking at your memories through your mind's fun-house mirror!

ok... as for my dream...

I always dream of places that I swear that I've been to before. Places that are so vivid in my mind and so real... but when I wake up, I know that I've never ever ever been there. It sucks too because those places are better than the real world..

I also dream of people stealing my food and beer. Thats when I wake up mad.

What does it mean when you are being chased by huge black horse through a forest with the knowlege that the Soviets had already launched their missiles and your going to die anyway? .... (this is a real dream)
