Greatest Film Car Chases

on Tuesday, February, 20, 2007 11:49 PM
Besides the lightcycle sequence (which is still my favorite), here's some of my favorite car chases in movies!

Bullitt (Nine minutes of Mustangs and Chargers, flying hubcaps and poor editing )

WARNING: VIOLENT IMAGES AT THE VERY END OF THE CHASE

Rendez-vous (Those French people are nuts!)

Bullitt is really funny to watch over and over again, because of all of the continunity. The Charger loses like 8 hubcaps in the whole chase. And there's a couple of shots where they use the same sound over again. Really funny stuff.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

The French Connection also has a good one...

Love those Chargers. Not overly happy with the re-design of them, though.

Need to get Bullit on dvd. Haven't seen it, but read about it. Love that black 68 Charger. Very sharp. My Dad has a 68 sitting in his shop he will eventually restore.

Vanishing Point

I love Vanishing Point. So many levels to look at with that film.

I think Dodge should release a white Vanishing Point edition Challanger when the new one hits market.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

The Blues Brothers.

The bad-assness of the final chase cannot be denied.

Beverly Hills Cop:

At about 2:10 remaining, on the right of the frame, a cop car smashes into some red barrels. At 2:08 remaining, the same cop car crashes into the same barrels again, but this time in close-up. See how many other movie mistakes you can spot (the model of police car supposedly changes several times at the start, but I don't know enough about cars to notice ).

The 1971 classic, Duel.

Talk about terrifying. This is the absolute worst case of road rage of all time, and long before the term 'road rage' had been coined.
