Yeah, Sketch is a robot. Been called that plenty of times on campus for the amount of work I put into projects. Don't mind being called that, cause I love robots. 
I admit, I use the term doodle, and scribble for that matter, rather loosely, but I don't see anything wrong with that. Just look in the history books at the doodles of people like Da Vinci.
The marker character is a bit more developed, but the rest are doodles to me. I draw rather fast so that's why my doodles are a bit detailed. It's just habit for me. I try to carry a sketch pad or some type of drawing medium with me at all times. It's nice to have a pad handy when an idea smacks ya in the face.

Yes, Mr. Sinistar, I used alcohol based markers, Prismacolor. They work great. Suckers will make your head spin after extended use though. I would love to afford a huge color pallet of Prismacolor markers.
Nice drawing your brother did. 
Love the cube characters. The bubble faces are cute too. Hope he doesn't loose interest in drawing. With time and practice the talent will grow.

Doh, and I didn't comment on your drawings Boingo.
Love the tanks drawing. That recognizer is in for a surpise when it turns that corner. The domain one is cool too. Looks very fortified with that square format.

Yeah, I showed my stupid messy sand doodle! It'd be hard to get less professional-looking than THAT... :P
(I can draw better when using _normal_ tools, really...not GREAT, and not _fast_, but to where things look more or less like what they're supposed to be...)

Here's something I drew on my White Board at work while waiting for my PC to reboot multiple times:
Some people know it's from Tron. Usually the people who know I love Tron. Some people say "Are those cars?", others just kinda look and then go on their way.

Reality is a nice place, but I wou ldn't want to live there.
Here I am thinking am I all special with my 2D side view of a Light Cycle then along come Mr. Sinistar and spreads my pixels everywhere.
