Boy have I been busy. Just taking a little break to post before I call it a night here. Some Tron scribblings from class.
In Advanced Illustration class we've had to do a mini scuplt mascot, so I've discovered regualr oven bake sculptey. I want to make a Tron mini figure and paint it. Mabey even some minibots too. Sadely I just don't have the time. Oh well, mabey another time.
Oh, so there's no confusion, the G. D. History is Graphic Design History.

Well, inked the guard sketch, used a copier to blow the image up a few percentages, and then redrew it while fixing details and perportions. Here is a shot of some of the various process. All I need to do now is run some coppies off of the inked image so I can color it.
Here is a shot of the final inked version next to a guard toy, for size reference.

Well, ran some copies and colored the guard today as a break from studies. Used markers and color pencils. Hee's the result.
Well, I'm now off to Kinkos to print a project for tomorrow morning. Time to bleed cash.

Kool Beans Sketch keep up the good qork there. I'll post up something as well. It is nothing super fantastic like yours. But as you already know sketch its something to do with some of the Avitars and flash put together here. I'm just practicing some flash animation here nothing too fancy here. When I get a chance I'll post the link for it. Hpefully it miught be something god here.

That is awesome. When I saw the "Do muffins dream picture", I LOL'd. Those are Tron-Sector classics, Sketch. Thank you for sharing them!
EDIT: You know, your art reminds me of the art in Bone, which is one of the greatest graphic novels ever!

Here is the link of that flash that I am currently working on. It is a work in progress over here right now. I might make something like what Homestar running has but more specific here to Tron-sector. Once I can get some thing down in the learning process.

Damn, Sketch!
I'm always amazed to see the doodles you come up with just out of nowhere, during class, or just finding yourself with a few minutes to sketch. You NEVER seem to be short on imagery - it is alive within you and fights its way out on to any paper in your site!
Cool to see some random sketches and one of them that you felt should be taken to a more refined state. Thanks for sharing the stages of progression - cool stuff!

WOW!!! Great work Sketch... I didn't spot this thread until yesterday and was too busy to say much then. If this doesn't bring back memories of being in school I don't know what does.

Tell me about it. I've had those moments alot lately working full throttle to get assignments done which keep trying to conflict with one another for time. I'm at that point where I'm ready to start getting paid for the amount of work put into projects, but that's just me venting as a student. Heh.
