I'd be hard pressed to pick my favorite spot EVER.... but if I had a gun to my head it would be the flight of the Solar Sailor and the wonderful music and graphics that went along with it.

If I had to nutshell it though, probably the big light cycle battle where Flynn, RAM, and TRON square off against members of the warrior elite. That scene was simply amazing to me as an 11 year old when I saw it in '82. It still amazes me today every time I watch the film. One of the coolest things I've ever seen in a film, ever.
Pretty much all the action inside the computer was my favorite part of TRON though. LOVED all of it! Blew me away! STILL blows me away!

Um... yeeeaaaaaah. I like the Death Star part of TRON too. All the recognizers in the world couldn't save the Death Star from the rogue group of solar sailors.

I have been watched its both parts and its very difficult to choose one in both of them.
But I choose the first one bcoz I like the concept and scripting of first part instead of second part.

I liked the interaction between Tron, Flynn and Ram best. So when they meet at the lightcyle holding area, Flynn plays along pretending to be a program. The scene preceeding and including the "pure source" scene. The scene when Tron saves Flynn on the solar sailer.
Liked Flynn trying to drive the Recognizer and cute liitle Bit.

my favorite scene in Tron: Legacy is when Clu searches threw Flynn's pad in the grid and has the flashback of when he was created. such anger =)

My favourite part of the original actually wasn't on the Grid at all. The scene with Flynn, Alan, and Lora at the arcade is far and away my favourite. The awkward banter between Flynn and Alan, building up the relationships between all the characters, Alan's reluctant joining of the campaign against Encom, Bridges' bravado underscored with bitterness.. some of the best character beats in the flick.
