New sketchbook

on Friday, June, 02, 2006 2:38 PM
Finally have a real mini sketchbook of my very own.

Finished this little guy today, which was our last day of Book Arts class. This was originally just a mock up to learn the process of how to construct a hard bound book. I decided to make it a Tron themed mini sketchbook. Always wanted a mini sketchbook to carry around , so I finished the mock up. Kept the theme grayscale so this book wouldn't take so long to complete. The book has 27 pages of blank drawing paper. This book is only 4"x3" large.

A shot of it in my hand, to give you a better idea the size of this sketchbook.

I want to create more of these. This was fun to make. Time consuming, but fun. This Book Arts class was fun. I want to make my own personal sketchbooks from now on.

Wow, it really is small! Tronified and smallilicious. That sketchbook is seriously cool!

You probably shouldn't have posted about it though, as everyone will be asking you for one!order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

I actually wonder if people would buy them if I made more.
I'm just thinking out loud at the moment, but sure could use some cash for the summer. I'm wanting to construct a color version of this, but expanded, with other things included to make the book more personal. Again, I'm just thinking out loud at the moment.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Well, I'd definately buy one, even if it shipped from the USA. I'd be more inclined to buy it if it was in colour, though.

That's really cool Would be nice if you could sell them -- I'd be tempted to buy one, too... but I have a feeling Disney wouldn't be too happy if you did that, unfortunately ~

I'd want it to be a bit larger... At least 6" x 9"...

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^

Hey, Sketch. If you do end up making several and want to sell a few, just let me know. I'd love to buy one. I say that since the book takes a lot of time a artistic labor, I'd be willing to pay $40-$60 dollars for one... or more... Just keep that in the back of your mind someday if you do decide to sell one...

Holy mackerel, Sketch you do some nifty stuff. That is one boss little sketchbook.

Can be a little sketchbook and it could be as well a nice litle blackbook or phone book idea with that covering come to think of it. It's still cool to see there.

Compucore

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Ahhh - I missed this thread before!

That's an awesome little TRON-modified sketchbook, Sketch!

So... does it glow under a black light?

Honestly they wouldn't bother with something like this. It would be one thing if you were to create a Tron website and sell all kinds of new tron related products, but selling a few little Sketchbooks is really no big deal. Heck look at all of the people selling unlicensed Tron shirts on eBay.

I'd certainly buy one if there was any way to keep the cost at a minimum (under $25). Realistically I'm sure the time that it would take for each would prohibit you from going forward and making a few for us. If you do though, lmk ;^).

Am I the only one around here with a blacklight toy collection ? Seriously I have a whole shelf worth of toys that glow when under a blacklight :^). Man I miss my party days sometime .

Nope. The book is just greyscale. This was just a little experiment that I decided to finish and make into a little Tron book. I would love to make one that does.

Yeah, I don't think Disney would mind cause it's not like I have the ability to mass produce these things. It's just a hand-made mini sketchpad.

I want to try and make some more. It depends on time at the moment. Already working on some drawings for some people. I am interested in constructing a few to sell. I can use some cash at the moment. Will post more about it.

The only problem is... if I bought one of these, it would be an act of vandalism to draw in it!where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Cool! If you sell those, I would be tempted to buy it. However, I would not because I am currently saving for a DS and I am not exactly the richest guy in the world, i.e. I only have 2.31 in cash and am still expecting a reward from my parents for cleaning the house. Believe me when I say that cleaning my room is not exactly the easiest of things.
