I suppose the only question is, just how many pairs do I order  ? Seriously, I'll probably buy at least 3 pairs the first chance I get. Even though I'm trying to only buy 'vintage' Tron items from this point forward, how could any fan pass these up ?

There were actually quite a few characters from the series. Arby's had a 'happy meal' type premium run of all the characters from the line during the very early 80's. As much as I'd really like to buy a pair of the Mr. Happy shoes, I just don't see myself ever wearing them.

They appear to be part of the Adidas "adicolor" series, which is identifies the tron line as "BL4". I can find pictures of them on the Adidas web site, but no mention of where they can be found. No online shoe store mentions them.
So my guess is they're either coming, or something old and not for sale anymore.
EDT: Looks like this line is new to 2006 and coming. Not sure about regional availablility, looks like this might be for the UK only. The "Adicolor" series was something put out in 1983 and is now being re-released.

Yea! That was crazy.
On another note. I did some snooping. Being a shoe collector, i also found out when they will be released. It seams that 25,000 pair will be made. As for the jacket only 10,000 pair. When will they come out? On may 5th. You can mark your calenders and twist your fingers if the u.s get em. I know europe will. We will see.

Aw crud! $200+?!? Now, I like the movie and all, but that's just obscene. Just plain wrong. Granted, I hope they sell out just to show the interest in it to the Powers That Be, but sweet monkey. $200? Dam thats expensive im not getting a pair at that price I usely spend like 30-40 bucks on shoes 200 is crazy I could buy about 4 xbox 360 games for that price
