Yes. Actually, I found that most of my multiplayers games are much more stable on dial up than my high speed wireless connection. Actually, the wireless high speed sucked in comparison even when the connection was stable, the game was not. So dial up won't be bad in this situation.

I actually needed to consult a guide a couple of times during the game myself though. So it may be in your best interest to grab one. I just suggest using it only when you have to, and then maybe more thoroughly when you're ready to play through again.

I didn't use it to get through the game, and neither should Nikster!

The strat guides usually have all kinds of nifty background info and inside info that you don't get from either the game manual or game itself. The extras are what I get them for. Also, this particular guide being printed in vivid full color is pretty darn cool. I'll post a few shots of it later so you get an idea.

I try to buy game guides only after I played the game a while. I get them for the info MutoidMan mantioned, and to see if I missed anything. Thats right at least one of us will let you know where to go and how to get it. Most of the time I have found out over here. Is to scope out ever square inch of each game level. Like There is a section before you meet up with Mercury at the tug. Where you have to cross the electric bridge from one section to another. and you have these huge boxes that float around. I don't know if you had already passed that area in the game already Nikster. But sometimes if you lok way on the top where the Boxes tend to go back into the wall again on ocassion you will find some of the point builders up there. And more access codes and the what nots.

Well get some more if you can. 256-384 megs of ram is not enough usually. 512-1gig of ram is though. It'll stop the swapping in the game. Heck I know Oracle 9i uses almost every bit of physical memory when I had it running with 384 megs of ram and started to swap to the hard drive. and thats basically doing almost nothing with it.



Oh and by the way. I am getting my old PIII 500 up and running again for playing tron 2.0 over hjere. So I can play again with everyone here. Still in the installation of Windows 2000 pro on it right now.
