Wow! Thanks guys! You don't know how much it means to me to be able to do this kind of stuff and that fellow Tron fans can enjoy. Tron means so much to me it's rediculous!!!! I've found that I have no desires to see any other movies except Tron lately, for whatever reason. I must have Tron "OCD"... really! LOL A friend has kindly let me borrow a couple movies, but every time I fire up my DVD player, I just watch instead. It's crazy. And then last night, I am just about to go to sleep and then there it is! TRON on the Sci-Fi channel! (Tori ~ If you get the Sci-Fi Channel, maybe check to see if they'll be doing re-runs soon?) So, naturally, I had to watch for several minutes and then force myself to shut it off to go to sleep. I'm having Tron movie-watching withdrawls right now...

EDIT: I just had to edit this post to let you know I now have a song stuck in my head (sung to the '80s tune by Robert Palmer): "Gonnnnna have to face it you're addicted to TRON!" (EDIT 2: I think TheReelTodd, KiaPurity, Tori or someone maybe mentioned a while back this musical 'play on words' song before. I don't think I can take credit for it.)

no doubt traahn I really enjoy it, like at work here I do tech support and i live on this site so this makes my day go along faster!!! that and of course meatsacks User Erro script that im actively reading!!!

Im telling you. you 3d dev guys need to collaborate with meatsacks plans and make a movie we have most of the meshes and some of the scenery. I guess the biggest challenge would be overlaying actors!

Way Way back in the day when I worked for AOL there was a push for 3-D immersive chat environments. There was one where you could make your own avatar and custom environment also. I think the interest in that kind of wained.... or maybe it was just MY interest in chat rooms. Is there anything like this still out there?

You can if you purchase your own world. Active worlds Inc will sell you a private (or public if you want) world/realm that you can create custom media and geometry for. Its just expensive. Check here for pricing for personal realms.
