My friends, fellow conscripts, I have scored! I feel so good!!! Yes, I have been a busy bee over here the past while, slowly trying to master the art of modeling stuff. Oh my is it a long, arduous (sp?) journey. I am sooooo happy at this. I feel like I am now finally able to make my Tron dreams come true of being able to create my very own Tron worlds. Now I know how wwwmwww must feel when he makes a light cycle grid. Here are a couple screenshots of some things I'm working on. To fly around in these worlds is something to behold. More to follow later... but I just wanted to share these quick screenshots:

WOW!!! Now those are soom very cool pics. I feel honored to have name mentioned in the same post. We've now got so many modelers here I forget... have you mentioned what software you are using again? I'd be happy to share my light cycle arena if you can import a CSG model into your software.

Hey, I haven't used the 'Upload Files' section in a while, does anyone know if there's a "maximum file size" you can upload? For instance, if I make a 20MB or 50MB video of one of these areas, will it successfully upload there so it can be hosted here at the sector for you all to view? Here's a close-up of one of the Recognizers:


This was a pain to model and it's probably not perfect, but it's my first shot at one. I had to make the legs and inward pointing feet two separate polys, which is why it has a seam down there. I'm not sure how to merge those polys yet. Oh well.... Just wanting to share some Tron images. I'm not looking for perfection yet, so no need to critique. Just wanted to share a love of Tron with you all...

PS: Let me know if this is too dark to see.

EDIT: I was going to upload a short 3.5MB video of the Recognizer using Google Videos (which must be a new service?), but I don't like their policies. I don't recommend them, and I will tell ten other people hehe

Why do companies these days insist upon writing into their contracts that they can pretty much steal your stuff and do anything they want with it? Seems like BVI did the same with Tron 2.0 fan missions, which is partly why very few were created.

And they have to 'verify' your video. Give me a break...
