Ahh, see, I TRIED doing mine that way, but in Blender, if you clone an object, it automatically takes on the material of it's original. If you try to change it to a different material, it changes BOTH... really frustrating.... lol That was why I gave up and made the tiny thin cylinders instead....

There's PROBABLY a way to do it like you said, I just haven't figured it out yet....
