Yeah, you removed the part where I prove that the concept of dual cell structure, which Henri Poincaré used in his proof of his Poincaré duality theorem is not based on Cohomology, but more power sets consisting of complex morphisms (taking the abstraction of a structure-preserving process between two mathematical structures) and moving it to inverse morphisms.

DOH!
Again - sorry about that.
The only parts of your original post I had were the two parts I had intended on directly responding to (the quoted parts). I tried to recreate what I could.
I can't believe I wiped out the part where you were able to prove the complex theory of inverse morphisms. Now the world may never know how it's done.

And I wrote about how to make a worm hole to transport people across the universe, simply by having two very large magnets repel each other. Well, I wrote much more than that to make it work... you know, talking about string theory, solved complex mathematical formulae, etc... but it looks like you deleted that. Oh well... I'm not about to retype it all!!

Well, you know... I can't have TRON-Sector members just giving away the secrets of the universe for anyone to see.
And that magnet trick - whew! Who knew? A couple of magnets, and intergalactic sting and the whole galaxy implodes... and the wormhole aliens... and the celestial temple... uh oh - DS9 flashback!

It's the Stella emulator for the PSP basically. I tried that out when I was back on firmware 1.5 and it runs roms pretty faithfully, although does have some problems (couldn't run Raiders and some others)
I managed to get Empire Strikes Back running on it. It's probably one of the few emulators for the PSP that runs at full speed with few to little problems.

I've had Atari 2600 emulators for my home computer for many years now. It was kind of funny back in the late 90's when I first found the emulators (mainly "Stella") that I could download pretty much every single Atari game ever made, ever. AND, when zipped, they ALL fit on two 3.5" discs! Two little discs, and they held the entire Atari 2600 library of games (zipped) - yeah, I really got a kick out of that.
I played a lot of Atari on the emulator - it was fun and amusing and a little nostalgic for me. In fact, I would hit my Atari emulator every time to time just to play some of Atari's worse ever arcade ports, like Atari Pac Man.
The whole thing with the Atari Flashback 2 is that I actually get to play Atari games again, BUT I also get to play them on a TV screen, that has interlacing scan lines that refresh at 60Hz, and it looks JUST like I remember it - on the TV as a kid! AND I get to play the games with an actual Atari joystick - JUST like I remember it as a kid. It is because of those reasons that the Flashback 2 has been such an enjoyable toy for me. Unfortunately there is no pause, and I only have those 40 built-in games (of which I only play about 4 or 5 frequently), but it is still the closest thing to my childhood experience of playing Atari. It's not just about the games, it's about the games AND playing them the way they were meant to be played when they were first made.
I'm not saying Atari emulators are not cool - not at all, I LOVE them! But for me, playing Atari on an actual TV (non-hi-def) with those joystick controllers that give me "Atari-thumb" - THAT is an incredibly enjoyable experience!
Maybe you have to be an old guy to really appreciate Atari on that level. But I'm lovin' every blocky-graphic moment of it!

Well, I'm an old guy too, and I agree with you Todd. There's something about sitting in front of the TV, cross-legged, playing 2600 games that brings out the kid in me.

Yeah - nothin' like the good old experience in front of the TV, in the comfortable position of choice - I usually play leaning on several pillows against the couch.
Ok - Asteroids Update!
I just flipped Asterdois THREE times in ONE game session! Woo hoo! I've never played that long in Asterdois (in the same game) or that well in my life!
To achieve this, it took at least an hour and a half straight through - NO pausing (you can't pause). It may have even been two hours - didn't see exactly when I started.
After flipping it the third time, I decided that I had better call it quits and get on with the other things I had to do tonight - man, how Atari eats up precious time! BUT it was FUN precious time!
I got Atari-thumb pretty bad at times, but I kept it in check by trying not to press the fire button too hard. Gentile, rapid-fire taps, not forceful pounding. It helped. Somehow I got Atari-arm in my right arm - it kept hurting! Hey - a new experience! Atari-thumb, of course, happens in the left hand and thumb.
Just before calling it quits, I tried out a new joystick position. I rested it on the floor, sitting upright Indian-style. I used my left middle finger (stiffened) to rapid-fire the button. I was actually able to fire a lot faster this way. You can only fire two shots on the screen at once, but when the meteors get up... oops, the asteroids get up close, I was able to really blast them in to oblivion quickly like this. Unfortunately, my ship control suffered in this position and I went through the 5 remaining ships I had at that point quickly and ended up ending the game with a final score of 322,460.
I found out something new too. You can only have a maximum of 9 reserve ships total. What? What's up with that? When I had 9 reserve ships, and I got another 5,000 points (where you get an extra ship in game mode 10), I got no more ships. And yet when I lost a ship, it still took away from the 9 - down to 8. Man - I could have had about 15 or 16 reserve ships at one point in the game, but noooooooo! Atari only lets you have 9. BLAH! I was all excited to see how many reserve ships I could rack up. Oh well - I guess it was just 9.
I still can't believe it. I can't believe how much gratification flipping Asteroids THREE times gave me. I can't believe how much fun I had just blasting asteroid after asteroid and the satellites and deadly UFO's as well. Wave after wave, that's all you do - just blast anything that moves. And yet, it is so much FUN!
I imagine the intense fun I'm having with my Flashback 2 and old-school Atari gaming will soon rub off. I imagine there is only so much fun to be had with those old basic, blocky games. But I love my Flashback 2. It's been MORE than worth its cost.
I still think you ought to get one, Boingo_Buzzard. I was reading about those Jakks Atari games. From what I've read, they were quickly put together recreations of the originals, often with glitches and errors to them. You really should treat yourself to some true Atari fun. I bet you grin ear to ear and loose yourself in beautiful blocky true Atari-land! And YOU can geek out like I've been, writing about all the fun you had reliving old childhood memories!
Have you played Atari today?
YEP I have!

Haaaaaaaa!
Thanks for digging that up and sharing it, josh.exe! Man, I haven't heard that jingle in at least two decades!
Ahh - the good old days of Atari and those amazing commercials. The games were often really bad, but the commercials always got you excited about them anyway. Atari's marketing team was ingenious! The commercials could make any game look like amazing fun - with everyone enjoying themselves so much playing them, all the smiles and excitement and those catchy jingles that would get embedded in your head for a long time. I can still remember parts of the Atari Pac Man jingle!
... for the poooooweeeeer pill!
And then all those ghosts turn blue - BOO!
Have you played Atari today?
That's about all I remember. But 25 years after I last saw it, it remains stuck in my head. That's powerful advertising!
-->
He he he - I set the Atari jingle to play automatically to when this thread gets hit! I hope it works for everyone!
EDIT: Audio clip removed. 01/13/2006. Caused some people problems.

Sorry about that, Boingo_Buzzard. I thought some people's computers might not play the clip, but I didn't expect it to cause any problems. I was trying to bring smiles to everyone who remembers the jingle - not crash their browser.
The audio clip has been removed. Of course, you can still click josh.exe’s link to enjoy it if you like.

Egggcellent! My plans are working perfectly!
Smithers! Bring me that old Monchichi audio clip... I have some other ideas I need to try yet!
He he he - sorry - didn't mean to scare - just delight old Atari fans.
Anyway, had to remove the audio clip - it was fun but causing trouble... and possibly the accidental release of bodily waste in either fluid or solid form.
Brings back memories though, huh?

Well, here's a little Atari VCS/2600 update.
I went to Radio Shack today and bought my coax to two-screw thingie converter. I hooked up my vintage Atari VCS and, inserted TRON Deadly Discs, flipped on the power with some uncertainty as to whether or not if it would work...
AND IT WORKED!
I quickly inserted an old 3rd party Atari joystick I had nearby called a "Jemstick" (cheap replacement joystick from same time era) and proceeded to play a quick game of TRON Deadly Discs. It was great! But the picture was a little... well, there was some annoying interference going back and forth at times. One of the many hazards of using an RF modulator converter hook up. And with all of today's modern wireless devices, it seemed to get a lot more interference than I remember 25 years ago. But it worked.
I rushed down to the basement to break out the rest of my Atari games from years ago. It's been a long, long time since I've powered this classic beauty up - I was longing for some classic games that I have not played (not including emulators) in soooo many years!
Brought up the rest of the Atari gear, and pulled out cartridge storage unit #2 - (holds 20 carts)... but no storage unit #1... where'd that thing go? I just saw it not long ago while looking for something else down there. I went back down to look nearby... looked in several other boxes... looked in the garage...
Oh man... this isn't happening, it only thinks it's happening...
Oh crap. I think I'm going to cry. I'm REALLY bummed out right now.
I cannot find cartridge storage unit #1 and the 20 glorious carts-o-fun it held. And unit #1 had all the games I played the most as a kid - Moonsweeper, Pitfall (which I can play on my Flashback 2), Atari Pacman (sucked, but loved it nonetheless), Ms. Pacman, Space Invaders... that's just to name a few.
Oh man... where the hell is it?
I was so excited about playing some of my old carts on my old Atari.
No clue where that other storage unit might have ended up. Not a clue.
I think I need a moment...

It will always crack me up that one man did the programming for Atari's horrid Pac-Man.
He was totally rushed by Atari to get it out for the Christmas season, which is the main reason it sucks.
But, his revenge on all of his co-workers who didn't have all the pressure - a photocopy of the $1 million check he received for developing it taped to his door!
He got a million bucks and we got a crappy conversion of Pac-Man - which I still played the hell out of nonetheless!order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion
