I just got back from seeing Peter Jackson's remake of KING KONG. It's absofreakinlutly amazing! A masterpiece for cgi animation and acting! I loved it all. Every location was awsome. Skull Island is on heck of a nightmarish place to ever be at. New York was presented beautifully, specially the Empire State Building sequences. Has anyone else seen it yet? Kong is King, plain and simple.
I give this film 4 giant primate thumbs up.

I must admit, it's hard to let Kong go at the end.

Yeah, hearing the Wilhelm adds a fun factor to a film that's so enjoyable, even if it's just a split second soundbyte. It's the Where's Waldo of movie sounds. https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |

haha, I always seem to forget about the willhem until I hear it, then it's kind of a fun 'hey, did you hear that?' moment.
Yeah, I planned on seeing this movie at some point soon, I've heard some strangely conflicting reports about it. Good to know what you think, Sketch.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

The Wilhelm is a scream recorded back in the 50's that's still used today in films and other media forms. There's actually three versions of the scream, but it's in tons of films. Lord of Rings, Star Wars, the list goes on and on.
AHHHH!

Man - I HAVE to figure out how to incorperate the infamous Willhelm in to a future production somehow!
And cool to hear that Peter Jackson's remake of King Kong was worth seeing. Honestly, I'm VEEEEEERY tired of the overabundance of remakes and sequels Hollywood's been putting out lately. But if a remake is treated right and done well - that can be fun.
Oddly enough, I caught part of the 1978 King Kong remake on TV the other night. When I saw it as a kid, I thought the special FX were so cool and a lot more realistic than the original stop motion King Kong. The other night, every matte shot looked so horrible! It was actually distracting. And the King Kong costume looked a lot more fake than I remember as a kid. Hmm.
BUT the really cool thing is it has one of my favorite actors in it - Jeff Bridges.
I have to say though, as an adult, the original B&W King Kong is my favorite so far. Perhaps because I view it as a work of art that reflects the time it was made. But I'll have to check out the current remake sometime.

The Wilhelm is in ÆON FLUX, and it's very easy to catch it.

I just thought of something that would be cool. When standing in line for a film, that you know the Wilhelm is in, start talking about Wilhem like it's an actor and start talking about Wilhelms classic peformances just to mess with people.
"Oh yeah, Wilhelm did an awsome job in all the Star Wars movired. Oh, King Kong, that was another great performance too."
*Stranger asks: "Who's Wilhelm?"
"Oh, Wilhelm's been in many many movies. You can't miss Wilhelm's delievery and stage presence. Everyone knows Wilhelm!"

What an outstanding film!!!!!
Peter Jackson just got his license to print money!
This film sets a new standard in CGI characters and shows why Peter Jackson should be given carte blanche from every studio in Hollywood.

Nope. That guy, Rick Baker, is a pilot (Peter Jackson is his gunner) and he works to bring down the big ape!

To be honest, the idea of another King Kong remake didn't exactly pique my interest.
But since Peter Jackson directed it, you know it has to be good . . . so I plan on seeing the film ASAP.

I've heard that the box office take so far has been "dissapointing". We all know that's, in the end, what matters. Not if it's a good film or not.
