Yeah, I suppose. But that's not really alluded to anywhere in the story. In fact we never REALLY see popcorn guy's face very good. We KNOW the relationship between Alan and Tron, and Yori and Lora, etc....
But I guess in the interest of fun it could be said that popcorn guy wrote Ram.

I'm okay with the theory that the popcorn guy wrote Ram Hey, that could be an entire backstory for a Tron prequel (hehe).
Also, Dillinger's sidekick in the real world named "Peter" has a program counterpart in the computer world. So did Peter write his program, too? Hmm, two backstories we could learn more about in a prequel.
For instance, when we first see Ram in the movie, he's locked up in the holding cells. So part of the prequel could be about how Peter's program duels it out against Ram and Ram loses, thus putting Ram in the holding cell. Okay, maybe it wouldn't work out so well -- isn't Ram an actuarial program? abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Could be the difference of Archititecture of the machine in question. A classical one that I can think of here and not that I am tooting a specific os here. Its like Ubuntu that I am using here. There are two others that are out there. one for the Power PC and another one for AMD64 and intel 64 processors. Or Risc based computers like Sun microsystems, Or sgi type of machines like the O2. The only thing that would make a program different like tron characters is on which build they came from. Like if they were on a 32 bit, 64 bit, and which processor it was compiled on. Thats the only thing that I could think of and relate to on that.
Tabulator Wrote:I think that the program would actually look different depending on the system it's on and what it's used for. Wouldn't that affect their color at least? It would be the same thing as outside influences affecting the way even twins look and act in the real world. |

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

I keep chuckiling when you guys mention Popcorn dude.
Who the heck is popcorn dude? I don't remember any popcorn eating *by the characters*during that movie...maybe it's just, again, that I haven't dosed myself with that movie in a long time now.

The Popcorn Dude is the guy who asks Alan if he can have some of his popcorn early in the movie. That dude's program counterpart in the digital world is Ram ________________________

It's the same actor. He (the character) even has a name: Walter Disley. Now that has no refrences to anyone else, does it?

Tori we'll just call him Peter Peter Ppcorn eater. Its like that one ad I had seen for canon or HP Can't remember which one it was exactly. But anywho. It had a stanza which sound like this. If Peter Paper pusher had a better paper pusher. How much could Peter paper pusher push. So we'll just name this one Peter Peter popcorn ester for the Movie tron. Instead of Popcorn Dude. Deal Tori?

TRON is a very unique program in that it Watchdogs all other programs, including the Master Control Program. So in that it would be very different, I don't even think it could be copied, as I sort of think of TRON as a "Superhero" like "Superman" would be for the entire world.
As for the rest of the programs, if the one of those clone programs was trying to upload itself onto another system with another clone, or with the original, the computer system would probably reject it until it got a small change in it's data.
Right? I mean I'm trying to think about it in terms of the TRON and TRON 2.0 World, and I assume this is what the computer would do. >_>
