Hello Programs~
My name is Qynn, and my love for all things Tron is completely blamable on my boyfriend. He had me watch the original film a few years back, and three days after going to see Legacy in 3D with him, I'm more hooked than ever.

You know, the funniest thing, my girlfriend actually liked the new movie a lot as well. She's normally not into this sort of "geeky stuff" but something about the new film really captivated her imagination. Now she wants to see the original. where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online "So, nice-looking ship you got here ." |

Greetings, programs!
I've been posting for a day now and forgot to properly introduce myself! I'm Trevor, post under Icon, and I've been nuts about Tron for about a decade now.. it's one of the reasons I got into indie filmmaking, and now I'm honouring that with a short fan film (thread at http://www.tron-sector.com/forums/default.aspx?a=top&id=401026).
I've been kind of lurking here for a while, trying to suss out a bunch of Tron sites and (IMO) this really is where Tron lives on the internet so I want the flick to do right by this community; please feel free to offer feedback and criticism during development so that the final product is something we can all enjoy!
Also: am super excited about the prospect of a T:L/Tron bluray combo pack. Almost makes me wish the movie wasn't still playing so it would come sooner!

Greetings programs,
I am a newcomer to the world of TRON, I hope I am not seen as a bandwagoneer but that is up to you :-)
My name is Zac and I am from New Zealand. I first saw TRON about two weeks ago, after having seen a trailer for Legacy at work (I am in electronics sales) many times I thought that I should at long last view the original. After managing to find a copy of 1982 TRON on DVD at a local video library - which i joined for the express purpose of hiring the film - I watched it and fell for the world and characters. That night my partner and I saw Legacy in 3D - she had been intrigued by the trailer - and we watched it again a week later!
I am now well into the singleplayer story on the PS3 version of Evolution, spend my lunch hour playing the official Disney TRON apps on my iPod, am hunting TRON 2.0 for my PC and am collecting occasional toys from the Legacy line!
It is great to find such a thriving fan community with rich discussion and a pool of true writing, drawing and other talents.
Kudos to you, programs, and I look forward to a great many cycles together.
end of line.

greeting programs. I'm a new Tron fans coming from Hong Kong. My english is not good so please forgive me.
anyway, i'm just aware of Tron because of "Tron: Legacy". I didn't have much expectation when i enter the cinema. I thought it's just another science fiction. After i see this, i think i just become obsessed with the universie. I just cannot get away with it, and saw it three more times. I still haven't lost my interest, and even more obsessed with it.
I'm a huge fans of Quorra. Not just sexy but also cool. Love her.

Hi, I'm new here, found the site after looking for problems regarding TRON 2.0 (it didn't have an install key, but a nice guy at Disney support just sent me one) that set me back $45 on EBay for a sealed never been open box (should have bought the game back in '03 when I had the chance).
My OCD/addiction for TRON stuff has also got me the new game (kind of short, but fun), and currently hunting down the last few die casts for Legacy.
Always been a fan of the original movie, the new one was just as good.
Glad to have found this site, looks like a fun place.

Whoops! Saw this post a little later than I suppose I should have, but I'll pop in and introduce myself. Better late than never, right?
I started getting more interested like a lot of your new members after the release of Legacy, though I remember watching the original with my dad when I was very young, and remember him repeatedly telling me how the CG blew his mind when it came out. I'm a devout ARAH GI Joe collector, and was sucked in to Tron fandom by the new action figures. I know they catch a lot of heat, but I really like them. I'll probably hang out mostly in the collector sub-forum, but I'll branch out eventually.
Everyone's seemed great so far, glad to have found this site!

Hey guys, old-school TRON fan here. Saw the movie and had/still have the four original figures and a red light cycle. Saw the second one finally and just fell in love with it all over again. From another amazing score to more fantastic visuals inside a beautiful computer world, they just nailed it. I've gotten a ton of merchandise since I saw the movie and this site has helped me find more. Great site and very friendly people, I'm glad TRON is back in the consciousness again. Would love to see it turn into a sci-fi staple. A lot of computer geeks running the world today were raised on the original.

Greetings, Users!
(Sorry, I just couldn’t resist that).
My names EXODUS, I’m a 31 year old single man from Kent, England, and although I’ve been a fan of the TRON franchise for many years now (ever since I was a kid, in fact) it’s only recently that I’ve discovered this forum.
What I love about the films is not just the visual effects, but the CONCEPT of the story-the idea that a computer system is, in fact, a 3D environment, and the programs there are living, breathing individuals like human beings must have been somewhat revolutionary in the field of science fiction in 1982, and it has always held a certain fascination to me ever since.
Although we never had a copy of the original film, has a kid I always tried to watch whenever I got a chance on TV (not very often, sadly).
But a few years ago, I brought the special 20th anniversary edition DVD, and this helped reignite my interest in the story all over again!
And to that seeing LEGECY at the cinema only further added to my enjoyment of it all.
So far, the only merchandise I’ve got is the 20th anniversary DVD, the Daft Punk album of the LEGECY soundtrack, and I will certainly be getting the LEGECY DVD when it comes out (although I cant buy EVOLUTION because I don‘t have an Xbox, Playstation, etc, just a PC, so that‘s out of the count).
Has a side note, for the last few years I frequently visited (and still do) another forum called The Railway Arms, which is dedicated to the British TV shows Life on Mars & Ashes to Ashes:
http://domeofstars.com/forum/
The Railway Arms Forum.
My user name there is STANDARDSHIGH, and you can see my avatar in the top left of that page.
I'll add an Avatar to this forum has soon has I find a suitable one.
Anyway, I’ve waffled on enough now, so I’ll let you all carry on…

I am Alexis and I am a new Tron-nerd. I only recently became into it when i first saw the Tron HISHE Rap on YouTube. Then I saw Tron Legacy (I've seen the original but I only remember 4 parts of it 'cuz I was at a church party with my friend.) and then I saw the original again. BTW, I'm QUITE a few decades younger than the cast of the original....

Greetings programs.
My name's Gigs. Named that after the character I made in Tron: Battle Grids on Wii. I've been a fan of Tron from the age of 11 when I saw the first one in theaters back in 1982. I LOVED it as a kid and bought all the toys. As I grew up, my interest in Tron pretty much died outside of some of the video games they made like Tron 2.0. I didn't even bother to go to the Comic Con panel last year.
However, things changed the moment I saw Tron: Legacy in the theaters with my family. It was in IMAX 3-D, and it was glorious!! Me and my whole family loved it especially the soundtrack. It was like the 11 year old fan in me came back. I just had to get some of the merchandise!
First thing was the Sam Flynn deluxe Identity Disc. I lost the little stand cuz I just can't stop playing with the darn thing! . Ended up buying some of the die casts vehicles, two figures (through the Disney Store sale) a Kevin Flynn Cycle, the graphic Novel, Tron: Evolution on PS3 (Christmas present from my sis) and Tron: Battle Grids (best Tron game out there, but it's a crime that there is no online multiplayer).
Well, I've been hovering around this sector in my Recognizer for a few weeks and it's time I dropped down to say hi. If anyone wants to play PS3 online with me, my tag is Shigamado. I have all the DLC maps.

Hello Users,
I've been lurking for a while, and joined today. Tron is one of the first movies I remember seeing in the theater (I was 6 or 7), and I've been a fan exer since. I play the games, watch the movie repeatedly, and collect just about all I can afford.
Seems like a good bunch of mature folks on this board, so I thought I'd join.

Hello everyone...Magnum (real nickname) here and glad to be part of this awesome website. I been on here for awhile trying to navigate through the sector and been caught up in the "Toys at retail" forum. I saw the original Tron when I was just a teenager and only have blue Flynn figure and a yellow Tommy light cycle, lost rip cord tho I was heavy into Star Wars and wasnt really collecting tron toys at the time. As I got older I missed out on Tron 2.0 and still dont know much about it. When I saw first trailer for TL I was blown away, couldnt believe there was a sequel. After seeing TL I just had to start collecting toys again and then I learned of this site.....SWEET !! Glad to be on the grid !order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Hello everyone, I am AriesT, composer, remixer and IT clerk, I'm 23 and I live in Germany. Actually I did not know about this forum / news site until this morning. However, yesterday I noticed a TRON fan group on facebook and it led me to this website. I guess it is the fanpage of TRON-SECTOR.
I'm a TRON fan since 1998 when I first saw TRON. Since then, I wished a remake or sequel to become reality. Then TRON 2.0 was in and I bought it on launch day! I still love this game though I never had the chance to play the multiplayer modes. Unfortunately it was a big flop.
Then in 2009, I noticed the first teaser. The "This is a GAME!!!" ... "Not anymore" one.
I was hyped immediately because after the big TRON 2.0 flop, I abandoned my hope in a movie sequel.
Now TRON Legacy started in Germany and I saw it it on launch friday. My wish became reality and I found this wonderful small community of TRON fans. Maybe I will stay here for longer - if TRON 3 will become true soon.

Hello all. My name is Lisa but I go by my old D&D name, IluthraDanar. I have been a Tron fan since it first came out so yes I am dating myself. It impacted my life in several ways. It inspired me to take computer programming classes, where I discovered, I hate programming. I preferred working on the hardware. The film also taught me independence. It was THE first film I attended all alone. I had seen it so many time, my friends wouldn't come with me anymore so I started going alone. It wasn't that bad watching a movie alone and no one stole my popcorn. It also inspired me to save up my money to buy my very first computer, a Commodore 64.
As for the characters, I learned to like programs in the forms of Tron and Ram, and the lone User, Flynn. Very nice, gentlemen! ;-)
Hope to have some great discussions on my fave films.
Forget it, Mr High and Mighty Master Control. You aren't making me talk.
