Greetings Programs - I joined up last night, having been stunned by the visuals of the Legacy trailed and subsequently seeing the film 3 times (not enough) - and now am completely compelled by the world of Tron, in a way I never imagined.

I had no prior knowledge of Tron other than the light cycle scene in Family Guy, and somehow managing to confuse Logan's Run for being called Tron *facepalm*

Anyway, there is no comparing the two, I've learned of my errors ^_^;

Hello all! I'm also newer to the world of Tron. Although, I've kinda known, roughly what it was for a while. I did You Tube Tron before I saw Legacy but it was Legacy that really brought me into the world. The whole thing is just way too amazing! I love wild ideas and possibilities and the Tronverse sure has them in spades. I'm actually kinda surprised I didn't get into Tron sooner than now.

Also figured you all would see the humor in these bits.

After seeing the movie for a second time, I found a quarter in the parking lot. LOL Unfortunately, it wasn't from the 80's. (Which would've made it even sweeter) It was Nebraska. Still I was like LOL too awesome!

I have a clear plastic puzzle version Flynn's digi metal Bit's I got at the school book fair when I was in elementary. Well, except mine only has 6 pieces, so it's not quite as complex. Still, when I saw the movie I was like nice, I have one of those!

I work with a school right now and we went to the arcade for a non-school day field trip, (yes, I know......) and they have the Tron arcade game!!! It was too fun! They have lazer tag too, which didn't play but whenever had I go look for/check on kiddo's, I was like score! Blacklights!! This feels like the Grid!

Also at a wedding I was at this past weekend, during the reception, they were serving blue champagne drinks. LOL (It was just by chance) So I put it in-front of the LED lit center piece at the table to make it glow. I think I even said out loud, "These look like the Tron pure energy drinks!" My brother's name is Sam, who was there too, so was I laughing inside even more. I felt like Quorra or an ISO! (Except, I haven't found the equivalent of her Sam yet.) Too bad they didn't play End of the Line or Derezzed during dancing. LOL

Hey everyone! I'm a recent Tron addict. Truthfully when the ads started showing for Tron Legacy, I didn't think I'd be that obsessed with it. Well I was wrong! I freaking love it, I can't get enough. Hello hello. Well, I guess it's kinda silly of me to take part in the intro thing but I don't think I ever introduced myself properly since I first joined a while back. I remember joining this forum, solely to keep up with TRON 2.0 updates and organize games with other members which was really nice and fun, though I hardly ever posted.
It's been some time since I logged back in due to work but ever since Legacy hit the screens, I knew this forum was the place to be to get all my Tron Legacy facts and updates.

Welp, hi everyone. I'm a fan of Tron and did see the original on TV a couple of times way back in the 80s when I was a kid. I'm 32 now, I own the original on DVD and I am very happy with the new film and just to being able to see a Tron movie on screen is really surreal and awesome. I am starting to have a semi-obsession towards the Tron saga, lol. It's very addicting.
I don't think I've been this addicted since I went nuts on the film BATMAN, starring Michael Keaton way back.

I draw comic book art and comic trading cards for a living. It's all good fun.
