OK, I am taking the plunge.
I am going to build a costume based on a scene in the first story for TRON 2.0 by Steven Lisberger. I realize it isn't a character anyone knows, but that makes it more fun for me.
It's a soldier going into the digital world after Flynn. I found the perfect thing for a weapon and I have to build it now, but it ought to be pretty cool when I finish.

Flynn is doing a Colonel Kurtz type thing from Apocalypse Now. He's living in the digital world.
Some believe he is responsible for hacks from within so they're going in to get him. There is a scene in the story where the soldiers are on a digital transpot and get ambushed by Flynn and his digital companion. It's my favorite scene in the story. I saw the movie in my head as I was reading it.

That does actually sound pretty cool. Too bad Disney owns all the rights to Tron or he could do it up as a comic or graphic novel.

Wow, that is really cool DaveTron. I have been looking at the 2 part bottles to make clear plastic, and thinking of all the full "glown" gear in the suit.. after looking at those pics you posted. hehehe. I suppose I'm going to do just that.. sooner or later. I think it may get a little warm without chemical light, and some glow paint hehe.

Ugh - Why did those have to be posted in the female cosplay section. We want females in this thread Crossdressing guys should be in a different thread for people who like that sort of thing, as to not mess up this otherwise perfect thread
