Auric can you take a look into the live chat. I was looking in my sdk console and there is an exception error from the http for making the connection for live chat to work. There is a red x showing that it is unable to launch into the java sre or sdk mode consoles.

A friend of mine is trying to get an account, but the site is not letting him. He has tried with multiple e-mail accounts and nothing seems to work.

It tells him that someone has already used this e-mail address. This doesn't make sense, because he just created this address. Anyway, he asks for the password to be sent to his e-mail, and it pops up with a server error message.

The site is running beautifully, I do see the graphics looking glitchy or slow often, but apart from the webpage it's-self.

TRON-Sector is amazingly slow for me as well. Mainly the main page, which takes about 30-40 seconds to load (or mostly load before I get tired of waiting). Site is slow and people's avatars are missing - mainly the avatars hosted here and Photobucket (or whatever free image hosting site) avatars. Don't worry folks, my avatar is still rezzing in and rezzing out and rezzing back in and rezzing back out over and over and over and over and over, so let that be of some comfort to you.

I'm sure Auric will fix things soon.


EDIT: I'm using Firefox 3 to browse (it's my default). I just checked with IE7 and TRON-Sector's main page fails to load beyond the banner at the top and background... wait a minute - it JUST popped in. It's like IE7 was just WAITING for me to finish typing that before it completed. I'm in Firefox 3 right now, but IE7 in the background and I could see it display the whole page in the background.

Ok, seems like The Sector is slow for both major browsers on my end - FF3 seems to load pieces of it slowly, and IE7 kind of just waits until the whole thing is loaded and then displays it all at once (or something to that extent). My OS is XP.

And... my avatar is NOT rezzing at all. It's gone. Ahhhh! I feel so naked! STOP LOOKING AT ME!
