Todd, I wish I'd seen you on the grid, I havent seen you on for 8 mos! note: I use Xfire as a game messenger. it's not popular among gamers, due to fear of lag, but it's a great tool to find friends. I have had no issues yet, and have alot of tron vets on my friends list(the game tags show while you are on the grid, and you can personalize it for privacy).

I just got off the game grid, and BOY are my arms tired! Er... what? I guess that only works with "flying"... never mind.

I had me a BLAST out there tonight!

I only wish I could have stayed longer. But I have things to attend to and have to work early tomorrow morning. Blah.

On the game grid, I had the pleasure of meeting up with, Layer, Lord Crash, Puppy, Seymour Cray, [ B7 ], Mutoid Man, VMan, and derezzer.

As you can see - there were some old-school, first on the game grid gamers out there tonight! And of course, the action was fast-paced, high-speed, and intense FUN!

I started by christening several damn walls with my head, but I warmed up after a while... like shortly before I had to run. DAMN! Never enough time to enjoy the good things, eh? Even though I didn't get to play as long as I would have liked to, I sure had a blast and enjoyed the action and everyone's company. Man - it felt like the old days out there tonight - a perfect blend of skilled playing, good take downs, and joking around with friends. And ShivaGoddess said "hi" via Layer while were out there. Ahh - she hasn't forgotten about us "loosers". Never mind - you had to be there.

Very cool meeting up with you again, MutoidMan - it's been a while! I know the hyper-fast speed takes a little getting used to, but I love it. I crash a lot, but it's a lot of fun like that. Once you're used to it, anything slower seems REALLY slow too.

is there s universal online clock that uses a sigle time zone like a internet clock that every one can use instead of saying eastern time western time etc, gets all confusing if your not from that timezone. it would be good just to turn round and say meet you online at www. 7o'clock time. would make things easy

It's shaping up to be extremely cool!

I won a $50 gift card to a mall, so my wife and I went to the mall to get something fun with the card.

Originally, I was going to get a 512MB Rio Forge MP3 player at a record store, but then we saw the 20GB iPod behind the sales clerk and started to think about getting it instead.

Then I remembered that I had seen an Apple Store listed in the mall directory, so we went there to see if the iPods were any cheaper than at the record store.

Well, they didn't have any 20GB iPods (apparently they're so two or three generations ago) but they had the new 30GB and 60GB iPods.

My wife being as super-cool (and practical) as she is said "Hey why not get yourself the 60GB iPod? It'll be your combined birthday and Christmas gift!"

Out came the gift card and credit card, and now I'm ripping every CD in sight!

Just got off the game grid - that was FUN!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with MutoidMan, *()++????, Brina, Mr. Anderson (I think we were actually playing on his server), and derezzer.

Was great meeting up with you, MutoidMan! I enjoyed our several head to head rounds out there. We took turns taking wrong turns and had a blast! You're getting a lot better on the high-speed servers. I hope you stick with it and you'll be a grid demon in no time! I remember you tearing up the game grid a long time back when I was still kind of learning. I even remember you going head to head with Crash several times in long, and intense duels and taking him down good (and he you). Nothing like a great duel on the game grid!

I had a mix of good playing... and DAMN walls! Man - I was definitely on the walls' bad side tonight... of course, any side is the bad side of the wall when you're smacking in to it face first!
