Man... I SO want to hit the game grid RIGHT now... but I must press forward with my project. Creativity stuck me earlier, and I have to follow through with this sequence. I'm rezzing in the red guy and blue guy right now... well not really "rezzing" them in, but I'm animating them in to the scene in a way I think will look cool. I can't wait until I finish this damn project... it's like a demon I must free myself of, only there's so much more to do. I can't believe I'm trying to maintain TWENTY video tracks of layered imagery and animation...

Well, I just got off the game grid I tried to make a “meet me” post – but TRON-Sector was NOT cooperating (grrrrrr) so I had to just rez in.

Was on for less than an hour, but had a GREAT time!

Started out alone on the DayenTech extreme team-cycle server. I was happy to see d|rK drop in! I LOVE going up against this guy! But, I played pretty crappy against him the first two rounds or so, then I beat him... well, perhaps lag beat him. It's always a hard call when you have a shield and you seem to derezz when you pass through or in front of the other player - BUT the real trick is that lag had you (shielded player) crashing in to the bike's side, which the shield doesn’t nothing for.

Still - it's ALWAYS great fun to meet up with d|rK on the game grid! There's just NOTHING like trying to take down one of the greatest at the sport.

In the game to follow, I had the pleasure of competing with ( o Y o )*, TheGiftedOne, User_Program, Krot (who teamed up with me tonight - glad to have you aboard ), and GhostRider {TG}.

The competition was fierce... of course - d|rK was on - but EVERYONE was playing great tonight! I did pretty well and even bested d|rK a couple of times tonight. Not nearly as many as he bested me, but still - that means I must have not sucked too bad tonight I think his game was a bit off tonight though - he said something about not being on the game grid much lately and he was having key-press issues (which I am VERY familiar with that experience) and the damn lag and all. And I must say - LAG has killed me MANY of times, as I misjudge exactly WHERE my opponent is (because it looks like I'm ahead) and then go in for the kill, only to get derezzed myself because the other guy was further ahead than I could tell on MY screen. Lag sucks.

In general - had me a GREAT time though, as I believe everyone did. I only hit a few walls too - not bad (for me). I did some GREAT take-downs tonight... and I got taken down hard several times myself too! I don't mind though - I have great respect for those who can take me down with the great skill these guys do. I like to call it "going to school" Besides - getting taken down or cleaning up the grid - it's ALWAYS so much FUN!

I wish I could have stayed longer but Star Trek: Enterprise is about to start. Got to catch that. I just HOPE they start off this season by cleaning up the less than cool story-line they ended last season on. Nope - didn't like the ending of last season at all.

I just got off the game grid for my second round tonight

I had me a GREAT time too!

This time around I played on the DayenTech default grid (which was kind of glitchy at times) and I had the pleasure of competing with [B|G|B] Capt_C, GhostRider {TG}, Giger v 5.7.4, th1rt3en.swf, Cleaner, ShivaGoddessNSG (good to see you Shiva - I know we tend to play at different times so good to finally catch up with you out there again ), Alpha.User[GTX], Cyber_Slave, User_Program, and Ender.

This time, I started out ok, and then got better game after game, and even won a circuit! And then... well, it was wall-slam, after wall-slam, after self-derezz, after wall-slam... you get the picture. I TOTALLY lost my game for a while. But in time, after hitting just about every wall on a circuit or two, I started to feel it again, and got better.

After getting my game back (more or less), me and GhostRider {TG} went head to head several times tonight. Last men on the game grid - and it was GREAT fun duking it out with him! I played very well against him EACH time - keeping him on his toes, and matching each move with counter moves and really making him work! And just when it looked like I had him in my 90 degree grip of derezolution... I usually ended up hitting the nearest damn wall or self-derezzing! DOH! What a sad way to end a great battle! And I did it SEVERAL times! Oh man. It was kind of funny... in a sad way.

Seriously, I did take down GhostRider {TG} good a few times tonight, and he also took me down very skillfully several times himself. And like the derezz demon d|rK, GhostRider {TG} is also very gracious about his skills and awards compliments for the battle you put up, even after he takes you down. In fact, most of "the regulars" show this great sportsmanship on the game grid. I've said it many times - it is THAT kind of great attitude that makes the light cycle game grid such a GREAT place to enjoy some action packed fun!

Well, GhostRider {TG} - I enjoyed our head-to-head battles tonight I'm looking forward to meeting up with you again soon. Perhaps next time I don't screw up with a REALLY stupid move at the last moment of the battle I'd MUCH rather be taken down with skill than do myself with a dumb move.

I had a great time, as usual.

This time around I had the pleasure of competing with Timmypowergamer, bit, SOG [OSM], NastyC [OSM], LuvMech(W.A.R.), DJDEREZZ, Dutch Kim, Twisted-E[OSM], [P|G|B] Capt_C, -I- Isaac [DR], and railgun.rar

Started off on the DayenTech extreme server in team mode. There I won TWO circuits all by myself (no one on my team) I played pretty well for a while there.

Soon, -I- Isaac [DR], [P|G|B] Capt_C and myself headed over to the patchgonebad.com server and enjoyed some of the custom grids there. Timmypowergamer and railgun.rar joined up with us and -I- Isaac [DR] had to attend to his young son. We had some good rounds there and I played pretty well overall. I also got bested by some pretty slick moves from [P|G|B] Capt_C while I was there - nice work man!

Enjoyed my time out, as always, and I didn't hit too many walls out there today... well, some grids I hit more than others

Well, the wife is calling me for dinner... and I'm HUNGRY!

Well, I only had time for a few quick games, so I didn't make my typical "meet me..." post.

But I just got off the game grid, and had the pleasure of meeting up with VMan [BASTARD] (who was just TEARING up the game grid tonight!), ShivaGoddessNSG, Ripstar13[OSM], Sylwia, Cutter, =flynn=[osm] (who was had time for a game or two), and just before I left - Twisted-E[OSM] joined in too.

Wow - THREE OSM's in the short time I was there. A popular clan I take it!

Well, my game was totally off tonight, but I still enjoyed my time out there. If I got to get derezzed quickly each game, I can't think of a better bunch of folks to get derezzed by!

The theme tonight was "Take Down V!". It seems that VMan was picking off everyone tonight over and over and over. By the time I had arrived - they were ALL trying to take him down . Poor VMan was not "feeling the love" as Giger might say.

Before I left, Sylwia was able to take him down once or twice. But until then, he seemed unstoppable! You've really earned that "[BASTARD]" tag, VMan! And a mighty bastard you are - and GREAT fun to compete with. I wish I had played better tonight - I LOVE going up against the real bastards out there! But, tonight I was too busy self-derezzing and making bad moves to be much of a challenge to anyone

Oh well. Sometimes I'm feeling it, and sometimes I'm not. Or should I say - sometimes I'm feeling those DAMN walls up close and personal, and sometimes I'm feeling other people hit MY jet wall!
