Just got off the game grid again - what a blast!

I was on for at least a couple of hours this time - I had the pleasure of competing with:

bit, dIrK, TheGiftedOne, blackfire, -I- Isaac [DR], WingDemon_, tiGht, crash, Every player, pacmantab, and 101.9. Now there was a lot of name goofing around going on as usual, so I may have missed a name or two, or doubled up on different names.

It was a REALLY action packed session this time - when you get TWO game grid masters like dIrK and crash on there at the same time - well, all I can say is hold on to your circuitry helmet - it can be quite a ride!

dIrK was on the game grid when I got there - and it showed. You see, he makes everyone rise to a new level of skill just to hold their own, and it showed because EVERYONE was wiping my bits up at first!

I hit plenty of walls too - yes, those wall magnets were on full force today

Today's high point for me, was not all the goofing around and jokes or gags - it was that I skillfully took out dIrK TWICE! What I am happy about is that it was not accidental - I really played well and got him twice! Of course, he derezzed me waaaaay too many times to count, but it was cool to be able to take out one of the most skillful light cyclists like that. And of course, dIrK is so cool about it - he always pays compliments to other's skills out there. You rock dIrK!

Well, I had a GREAT time of course... that seems to be a repeating theme in my game grid posts. But what can I say? I LOVE this game!

I'm not sure if it was a true "good LC day" for me - I had some moments out there, but I did a LOT of screwing up. I've had days where I've been on fire (or as close to on fire as I get) but Saturday was not exactly that. It was my usual mixture of self-derezzing early in the game, plenty of wall head butting, and some well focused and well executed moments.

Was great seeing you out there, dIrK! I haven't had the pleasure of competing with you in some time. I know I tend to play earlier than most do on the weekdays. And yes, I've been VERY busy as of late.

You're right - some time off the game grid does indeed improve upon my game. I start out rusty, but quickly get back in to the groove and even a bit sharper than before my time off the grid.

The new Doom is coming out soon - I hope it doesn't dry up the LC game grid when it does

I'm not sure how often I'll be on the game grid this coming week myself, but I'll be back again real soon! If only there were more hours in the day...

I hope to catch you again, and of course - ALL the regulars who make my game grid time there so very enjoyable!

So, Alienware was talking about how great I was?

Yeah - he's new, and I caught him the other day - his FIRST time ever on the game grid. I tried to teach him a little about LC strategy, and some of the terms we use when we chat and all.

Anyone who's played against me knows that I don't suck at light cycles, but I'm not that great at it. He was probably impressed with my moves, being a newbie and all. But really cool that he remembered me and talked about me like that.

I just peeked in on the game grid. I was there for all of two minutes and didn't have time for a game. I found Lupercus, Ender, TheGiftedOne, and WingDemon_ there and asked that someone pass along to Alienware to stop by TRON-Sector.

Perhaps we can get him hooked on our favorite on-line activity... THE LIGHT CYCLE GAME GRID

Hopefully he'll get the message and find his way here, and become part of the TRON-Sector community as well

And remember folks - PLENTY of build points to anyone who recruits another regular TRON-Sector member!

Hey-ho, Programs!

I just got off another great time on the GAME GRID!
It started out pretty quiet. I ran a few laps with Suspects, then he had to go, so I waited. it wasn't very long until Layer showed up, and then things really got going!

I can't remember all the names... but I saw Shiva Goddess, Giger v 9.9.9, INsanitY, and a few others that I can't quite remember their names.

There was also a lot of name changing going around- a couple of us changed our names to Shiva Goddess, then Layer, and even Giger v 9.9.9! then INsanitY ended up as Strong Bad (after making a few other stops. ) and also the @$$, killingyouguy, and The Cheat were thrown around, and finally we ended up with The Borg, Borg Queen, and GuyW/Phaser, then 7 of 9, crewman 87, Captian Layer, (there was another Borg...) Locutus, and then I ended up as Species 8472.

Whew! Just got off the game grid again.

Was LOADED with plenty of action this round!

This time, I had the pleasure of competing with Giger v 9.9.9, Reao (who kept name shifting), CyberShaman, HomerSaurus (who TORE up the grid with some slick moves today), AK47.75, Alienware, SmokeYe, Aitrus233, BEBO, Disco.Stu, KillerVirus, Garason, TwistedEdge and 420Green.

Was great to see the regulars that showed up, and the newer ones too. I'm glad I had a chance to race against Alienware again. He wasn't very chatty tonight, but played pretty well for a newer LCist. I tried getting him to join TRON-Sector.com again, but he didn't reply to it - he may have stepped away from his PC for a moment.

And SmokeYe played pretty well again. He may turn out to be a regular on the game grid

Of course, BEBO really dominated while he was out there - he's very good. It's always great fun to go up against the more skilled players out there - helps improve upon my game and is more enjoyable when the competitive level is raised.

I was worried that the game grid would be doomed, with Doom 3 being out and all. I'm happy to see that it hasn't dried up!

I had a blast as always today and I'm looking forward to seeing all of you again soon on the game grid
