And I'm sorry I haven't been on the game grid much lately. If only there were more hours in the day! At least I had a good time on Saturday with the regulars (and newbies too) that I had the pleasure to compete with for a while.
I may not be hitting the game grid very much in the immediate future, but rest assured. Let it be known, to ALL the light cycle game grid regulars - that your wall-head-butting light cyclist (that's me) will return to the game grid again and again, even if not as frequently as I'd like. Oh yes, I will always be back to wipe all your bits all over the game grid with my high-speed action 90 degree precision turns... or... at least I'll be back to play well enough to find my way to a wall near you and then attempt to... um... ESCAPE the game grid by crashing through it, like Flynn did in the movie TRON - yeah - that's what I'm really trying to do  Wait a minute... that wall Flynn used already had a hole from the other guy who crashed. Oh well. I'll try anyway
Again - been VERY busy on a creative video project in my (very limited) free time. I really hope to finish it soon... it should be cool when done... or at least fun to watch. Anyway, I'd like to have at least ONE new video to add this year to my video-content-lacking site. If only I didn't have to work so many hours a week! 
Oh well, reality.
To those I met on the game grid on Saturday - I had a GREAT time! And to those I haven't seen in a while, I'm looking forward to meeting up with you soon
And now... I'm off to Todd's Video Oddland to continue work on my "I don't know why I'm making this, but I feel compelled to do it anyway" video production!

Ok, just got off the game grid, and boy was I RUSTY!
Only one of the (frequent) regulars on tonight - Disco.Stu and he was CLEANING up the grid! Great work out there Disco.Stu!
In this round, I went up against cogman, Face Lift, Disco.Stu, [PGB]Xcaliber, alpha.user, Syphyrna, AK47.75, CubeG4, Program0 (a newbie just learning - wonder if he'll get hooked), Uncle Sam, purge -ditto-, and Darm.
As I said, I was a bit rusty, but it was fun. I played ok after a while... well, after Disco.Stu left He really tore up out there! I would have liked to see more of the regulars out there, but I'm sure they're just Dooming for now or something But they'll be back
Well, I may hit the game grid again later on.
Perhaps I'll see you there?

By the way Alpha.User is copying me. He used to be someone else until I kicked his teams butt almost all by myself, then he changed to alpha.user. I was lucky that day.

Whew - oh YEAH!
Now that was some fun!
Just got off the game grid again. PLENTY of action this time around and... well, I did quite well too I was no dIrK or crash or anything, but I won a few circuits and scored well overall
This time I competed with HomerSaurus, TheGiftedOne, -I- Isaac [DR], Face Lift, Alpha.user (who was being an ass and acting just like... SHORT BUS!), Ripstar13[CD], Uncle Sam, Soltrapax, Farrow, LavaDisk=Samus=, Harpo989 (welcome back to The Grid ), Metropol, TrivialYoda (a newbie who was out for the 2nd time - welcome!), gnardogjay, and, TRON-Sector's newest Program - Omega.User!
Glad to have met you on the game grid, Omega.User. I hope you return often
BTW - to get the custom maps, go to www.PatchGoneBad.com and join as a member (it's free) to get access to all the coolest custom maps you could ever want!
Speaking of custom maps, I had the pleasure of playing in Shiva's World tonight! Cool grid, with a hidden little secret Wow - VERY Final Fantasy that one is! Nice job on your first custom grid, ShivaGoddess
Well, I sure had a blast tonight.

Is it just me or is the Green Hornets level impossible to beat on Single Player Light Cycles??? That's the only one I still have left to do. I keep getting frustrated with it. Does anything special happen after you beat all the SP light cycle missions?

Oh, yessssss.... That level had me PLENTY #$*&@! off. The only tactic the even remotely works is to get in front of them an hit the brakes. I just played it OVER and OVER until I got lucky enough one time...
As for beating them all, I don't remember anything special other then getting all of the levels / power ups for custom play.
Don't you wish your corruption was hot like me?

I do, but not very often. I also use a different name when I fight in the disc arena or derezz matches. Should I ever run in to you there, I'll identify myself in a way you'll know who I am
I just LOVE those light cycles though.

Whew - just got off the game grid
I was on for almost 3 hours and had a GREAT time!
It was good to see so many regulars and a few newbies too.
When I first rezzed in, I found -I- Isaac [DR] there, and we played a few rounds together. We were soon joined by The Stallion - a name I haven't seen before, but seems to be a regular LCer who felt like playing under a new name - The Stallion seemed to best both -I- Isaac [DR] and myself most of the time for a while.
As the games went on, I had the pleasure of competing with CyberShaman, cogman, TheGiftenOne (who's power-ups weren't working again - hope you can fix that), Ender, Giger v 9.9.9, Raven (been a while, good to see you again!), V!X (a newbie to the LC game grid and great personality - hope to see more of you!), ShivaGoddess (good to see you on the grid again too - been a while), and Hack v. -28[BU].
There was plenty of action and I had many good rounds out there today. I got really crappy in the last few circuits though - probably because I'm VERY HUNGRY and must now grab some food!
Well, I'm off to eat.
Hope to see you all again on the game grid real soon!

Yeah, but I bet you'd be pretty frustrated if you got a virus that crashes your computer, erases your hard drive or installs advertisement spam software.
Don't people have anything better to do than to write viruses?
A friend had the advertisement spam stuff going on on his PC. He could barely even use the web. It would take control of his browsers, open a bunch of new browser windows, etc. It was crazy!
I installed LavaSoft's "AdAware" and it found (and quarantined) 253 files on his PC that were trying to wreak havoc! He can once again browse the web.
"SpyBot Search & Destroy" is another good program to get for this. I hear the AdAware program will find some that SpyBot won't, and vice versa. So if you get both of them and cleanse your system, you're doing pretty good for yourself. They're free downloads from the web. I found out about these 2 programs from a radio show ( http://www.komando.com/). Do searches for Ad-Aware and SpyBot on this site.
Careful what you quarantine, though. Some files they find might not actually be problematic and may be needed for programs you use. I accidentally quarantined a Windows Media Player file that I shouldn't have. I think I just un-quarantined it to fix the prob.
Just wanted to mention really quick in case anyone ever has this issue.
EDIT: I'm sorry for the tangent here everyone. I accidentally replied to a post by TheReelTodd on the first page of the thread. I forgot there are 15 pages to this thread :P Oh well, hopefully I won't catch heat here for not sticking to the subject.

was on for a while tonite and caught up with tweaker and dirk...along with layer, cyber shaman..and a few noobs i hadn't seen before....i got a few screenshots of dirk spelling his name...anyone come on by my site and check it out

I'd recommend just posting that you'll be on the game grid, and then just start playing. Generally, there'll already be some people playing and you can join in. Should any TRON-Sector members see your post and they have time to hit the game grid - they'll rez in and find you there.
If you wait on people to get your message before hitting the game grid, well, you may be in for a long wait and miss out on a lot of fun
If I had a little more time, I'd be there myself, but don't tonight unfortunately
