Please tell us why, briefly, you would like to see a TRON 2.0 feature film.
A sequel to TRON, would allow the story of one of the first movies to use CG successfully, as well as having it as a part of the storyline (and not just for whiz-bang-neato factor) to continue. The fan base for the original movie is considerable, and new fans are popping up. The game has been very popular, winning numerous #1 rating reviews. And personally, I'd love to see what todays CG capabilities would be able to do for such sequel!

"TRON" was ahead of it's time. With consumer acceptance of CGI and digital filmmaking, now is the time for "TRON" to come full circle. Disney has access to great writers (as "Pirates of the Caribbean" testifies to) and could get an excellent script in hand. The success of "Pirates" also demonstrates the box office draw of big, exciting storytelling and visual imagery. "TRON" has it all. Its stunning vision of a world inside the computer has spawned filmmaking creativity, from "Toy Story" to "The Matrix". Not to mention that such a respected actor as Jeff Bridges, fresh in audiences' minds from "Seabuiscuit", may be willing to take part. Don't be afraid of your product. Since "TRON"'s debut, the proliferation of computers, networks and communication systems has exploded, becoming even more intricately involved in our lives. The untapped potential of "TRON" is limitless.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

TRON was a ground braking piece of art that deserves a sequel. CGI has come a long way on the last 20 years and we want to see what the computer world of today can look like. Without the bounds of trying to make CGI look like the real world I think the movie stands in the perfect position to be able to show effects that have never been seen before and be just as ground breaking as the first.
I will certainly take my famaily to see this movie.

Since I first knew of Tron, I wanted to see it as it was meant to be seen- in theatres. If you kill the idea of a sequel, my dreams will go up in flames. Please create the TRON sequel. Please.

I was ten when I first saw Tron in the theatre. It fired my imagination moreso than any other film I had seen since Star Wars. I've watched the film countless times since then, enjoying it as much as the first time I saw it. I've won over many fans among my freinds and family. I would like to see a sequel made so that we can enjoy a new adventure in the Tron universe, so another generation can be inspired.

In 1982 my life was changed by the movie Tron. I currently work in video games as a programmer, and my entire career was forged by seeing Tron. I've met plenty of people who have had their lives changed by Tron, and it's not everyday that a movie has that effect.
Please, Disney, make a sequel. Let the original people in on the project, as well as others who love the movie as much. With the success of Lord of the Rings, we're seeing what can happen when a group of devoted, artistic fans care about a license. A Tron sequel can bring a whole new generation of fans into a love of technology, as well as continue to fuel the imagination as only the limitless world of Tron can.

I believe a Tron sequel should be made for a lot of different reasons. Mostly it's because I believe Tron had so many ways it could go, it would make so much sense to make a sequel. I promise this board... in twenty years, if a Tron 3.0 does not come out, I will write one, in novel form. Deal?

I saw TRON in the theatre and I loved every second of it. I was an arcade rat and it was an extenson of the life I was living. The real connection for me after the movie was the game! I spent weeks of my life on the TRON machines. I was the best at Lightcycles and Tanks. I knew every pattern. I own them now, and I still play.
Little did I know that TRON was shaping the rest of my life. I got into my career in video games because of TRON and it's impact on my life. I have achieved what I wanted to do in this part of my career, and now there are things happening related to TRON that are changing my life again. I want to see a sequel made so that other people can have the same experience I had in 1982 and so that I can have that experience again.
I think Steven Lisberger should be in charge of the second film whether he directs or not. This world is his. Nobody else should be allowed to change it.
That's my personal opinion as a TRON fan. Please make TRON 2.0.

My name is Rob Farquhar. I'm 26 years of age, and I live in Sydney, Australia.
TRON was one of three fictions that got me interested in the whole field of science fiction (the other two being TransFormers and Doctor Who). I've been through my phase of mocking the film's technical inaccuracies and thinking TRON was derived from the Trace: On command. I've since come to realise that TRON was simply fun. A couple of years ago, I went so far as to buy the 21st Anniversary DVD set from the States (this was six months before a Region 4 set hit our shelves), and had a pre-order at my local Electronics Boutique as soon as was feasible for TRON 2.0 (which I have bought and completed).
I'd like to see a TRON sequel for the same reason, I believe, anyone wants to see a sequel of any film they enjoy. As with every TRON fan, I enjoyed the company of Messrs. Flynn and Bradley, not to mention the programs Tron and Ram. The problem is, I only got the chance to meet them for a mere hour and a half, and just when I felt as though I was getting to know them, they had told their story and were gone.
I want to see a TRON sequel because I want a chance to get back together with these characters I barely had the chance to meet, because I care about their fates and just want to know what the heck they’ve been up to these past few years. I want to see a TRON sequel because I believe that those stories – of where they’ve been and what challenges they face now – will be good, interesting, enjoyable stories. I believe that the TRON universe has potential for expansion, for new characters to meet and cheer and boo. I believe that my emotional investment in TRON will bring me back for a sequel readily and willingly. And - even though recent films like The Matrix have told similar stories – I believe that the World of Tron is still visually and stylistically unique in cinema, and that a sequel’s story will not only stand apart in modern popular culture from the rest, but also, in today's computer-savvy age, draw (and exceed) the audience that the original, far ahead of its time that it was, deserved.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I can't exactly add anything else - agree with all prior statements, and that this movie should be more than a typical "sequel" - it should be as good or BETTER than the original.
Do your best, make it a good one. Don't rush it. Thanks in advance. Set.me = SpaceChief.EXE

hi names steve andrews of Doncaster UK,
why does a sequel need to be done, hmm well in my opinion simply because its original was one of the greatest pieces of scifi movie making of its time. the film to me epitimised what the '80's' was about, ie pushing the bounderies of then computer graphics and film making.it was and still is a film with a great "feel good" factor. So why not push those bounderies back yet again and give us a sequel we can and will all be proud of.
come on you know its got to be done!!

Ever since I saw the TRON movie I have wanted to see "what happens next". Then, when I heard about the TRON 2.0 game I checked the official website almots every day for a release date [eventually it was released a couple of months later over here]. Now, once again I am just as enthusiastic. Tron 2.0 movie must be made.
I also think Tron 2.0 would make a good IMAX movie, with stiff like discs flying right into your face, that would be so cool!!!

Ever since Christmas of about 20 years ago, I have liked this movie. I can remember the great times I had with friends playing the arcades, and playing it on the Intellivision as well as the Tomy digital version which I wish I still had! aarrgghh! Anyway, I hope that Mr. Lisberger will consider either Pixar or ILM or some great company to work with and make a sequel that another generation can have so much fun with. Just got 2.0 and the 20th anniversary DVD this Christmas, and I couldn't be happier. Ahhh nostalgia.... Please do make a sequel.

Hello,
My name is Adam Glazer from Burlington, Vermont (formerly from Cleveland) and saw the original film TRON back in 1982 when I was 10 years old and this film inspired me to get into video games and art and the sheer creative power behind this film just blew me away.
I say to the power to be...DO THE SEQUEL!
The sequel should have been made in 2002 (two years ago) and is way overdue. I would also not to suggest to base the sequel on the game's storyline since it would be too similar. It was also funny because a friend of mine and I thought of TRON 2.0 title name before the game came out...a funny coincidence.
It's a shame that 99 MPH decided to cancel the comic series since I would've loved to see that. However, I would'nt mind getting my hands on it as a writer or artist since I'm in the comics industry...small press, that is.
Anyway, DO THE SEQUEL!!!!!!
And without the DISNEY label, for God's sake.

I've been a fan of Tron ever since I saw the original movie in theatres during its first release. I was an 8 year old boy whose eyes lit up and whose face grew a big smile from being immersed into the world of Tron. I wanted to be Tron. Heck, I still do. I would love to see Tron 2.0 light up the big screen, and with Steve Lisberger's original crew behind the wheel. Fact is, for me, Tron still remains just as interesting today as it did 20 years ago. Among all the other glorified sci-fi epics out there, I still find that Tron feels closer to home.
So yeah, I have the Tron 2.0 game, the action figures, the Tron DVD, etc. etc. The only thing missing from my collection is the movie sequel(s).abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Tron is awesome. If they were to make another movie I sudjest that they keep the graphics the same. Keep it simple colors and models. A new movie would be great and I think a lot more people would understand the computer terms today. Or at least understand a little more.

My name is James Evans and I live in Los Angeles. Tron has been a staple of my cinema favorites since its build date long ago in 1982. I remember it being one of the few enjoyable cinematic experiences I had with my father. Us with other kids and parents locked in a computer age struggle of good versus evil. A day very much out of the ordinary for me in that Wheaton Maryland theater. I got the toys and video games like every other "normal" adolescent boy around that time and carried the memory of the blue circuited warrior with me for what seemed like an eternity. I got into college and began immersing myself in film and video classes with hopes of one day directing the next Tron movie. Well, times have changed. I grew up, left Maryland, My father passed on and I have a steady job and a family now. Film is my work but not as a "famous" director unfortunately.
The legacy of Tron has grown up with 2.0 game as has alot of the technology that was used to create it and in that respect I and the others here in this petition believe that it is now time for a new story to emerge from script to screen. The fans demand it as do the times. So what do you say? You make the sequel and I promise the fans will try to make you guys "stinking" rich for the effort. Thanks for listening.
