Re: Star Wars coming to DVD...

How tedious.

If other people have a problem with my posts: let them come out and say so. If such people do exist. Hiding behind someone else doesn't help. And forcing me to speculate is enough to make people...uneasy. You're the one, Dave, putting this into people's heads. Not me.

Taking neccessary action: For what, exactly? And what kinds of action? Pardon me, but this is absolutely ridiculous. There's not even a molehill to make a mountain out of here. If you're trying to entrap me or force me to say something I shouldn't, Dave, then I'm sorry to say it's not going to work.

Your interpretation of my posts is up to you, but they are true, genuine, and cloak no sinister undertones. As we've said time and again: it is difficult to say the least to try and understand the thought, the feelings, and nature of plain text (on the Internet). Icons are a welcome addition, yes, but sadly we don't have the power of speech on this here messageboard. Yet? Who knows? Perhaps you could enlighten us with that? Save a lot of petty, lengthy posts.

I've never been provoked to talk (openly) about other posters, so seeing as you've started the trend I will to, albeit just a few.

The Real Todd: a guy, not only with a great sense of humour
but with a fantastic well of info (in particular on the costuming side of things; something I, too, am very interested in).

www: intelligent, crafty, impartial and sympathetic to other posters, it's refreshing to read his posts.

"Happy posting"? Most certainly. Pip! Pip! to you me ol' boy.

Incendentally, to all Tron-Sector posters - and, of course, DaveTron:

If you're ever in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland, drop me a PM and I'll be delighted to give you a comprehensive tour of this fine city. I'll take you to the "Tron" bar in Hunter Square, and we can chat about all-things Tron-related while Journey play on the jukebox - no joke, it's no there.

And, if you feel like all planning a group trip to Scotland, I'll help set up a fund to raise the £300 needed to provide a Tron screening at The Dominion, one of the last few traditional Picture Houses in Britain.

See, I'm not all bad.

That's a hard one. I'm sure I'd watch it and love it and get it on DVD when it came out. But I'd have a hard time accepting it as TRON. I'd have to call it TRON 1.5 or something. To me TRON is a piece of history that can't (or atleast shouldn't) be changed now. I'd love to see all these guys get together and put out something new but I'd much prefer that the effort be put into a sequel.

TRON 1.5, told from the POV of the MCP this time. Same movie, different perspective. Has it been done before? Is there a TRON 1.5 out there already? If so I haven't seen it yet.

And talking about different perspectives... how many here have the Star Wars Radio Dramas? I have to say I LOVE them. They add a totally new dimension to the films and tell the same story but from a totally new angle. They are very well done.

I was joking, Lion King 1.5 was done that way. A few new scenes so the same movie is told from the perspective of Timon and Puumba instead of Simba. Cheap way to get another movie. If it were anything other than Lion King it might seem a bit silly. I love Lion King though so I am on board for that.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I assume that's me. Carl is fine. I could tell you what the wwwmwww stands for but then you'd think I was crazy. So thanks again for the second nice comment about me.

That said... I'll do what I've been telling Dave not to do. Yes... he's not paranoid. I've emailed him privately telling him I understood his view but that I didn't feel his public statements were necessary. Look at this:

Red5 Wrote:
There's always a few purists around, isn't there?

Its a rhetorical question aimed to insult any Star Wars fan that wants the original version of Star Wars. Atleast that's how it reads even if its not what you meant. I agreed with the point you made but the tone you used wasn't necessary. Even if its just said jokingly with a smile after it as you yourself have pointed out the short comings of the "nature of plain text" conversations it still can be taken the wrong way. My advice is if you have an opinion you want to state or even state strongly its best to do so in a way that shows you respect the opinion of those you are disagreeing with. Understand? Otherwise it just comes across like you are trying to pick a fight. If you want to start a debate I'd like for you to feel free to do so but lets keep it a friendly debate.

That's just my 2 cents,
Carl

Thanks Carl for standing up. I appreciate it.

Let's just let this go now. Red5 has responded to me privately, and while we don't see completly eye to eye, I think he will agree to let bygones be bygones and move along? Right?

Let's debate and post and be as frieindly as humanly possible.

Be good!

If anyone has any issues with posts on the board, you can forward them to me, Sketch, TRONProgram, Esotek or Auric himself and we will deal with them quietly behind the scenes. No more verbal toe-to-toe combat in these public forums. My apologies for those who had to witness it.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

I'm not sure I've seen that. Was that the direct to video movie that came out about a year ot two after Lion King? Hmmm now that I think about it I may be thinking of the sequel to the Little Mermaid that was direct to video.

Here is a TRON sequel question for you. Now that the TRON 2.0 game is out does that preclude that name from being used for the next movie? I know talk of a sequel has been around for a while but I'm at a loss as to what to call it without causing confusion. Do most here just call it "TRON the sequel"?where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I have the Star Wars Radio dramas on both cassette and CD. I agree with you, too. I think they are very well done and add more to the story.

For those of us who are REAL freaks , there isn't enough Star Wars info. in the world. I have (and have memorized most of) all the original Star Wars RPG stuff, vehicle, wepon, character and planet guides! I don't really dislike anything Star Wars, some of it I'm just not too fond of!where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

After you kick Eisner a few more times, relax man, relaaaaax.

Buena Vista Home Video is releasing The Black Hole on DVD on April 3, 2004. I'm guessing that it's a special edition... only three months after I just bought the Anchor Bay DVD release of The Black Hole.

Three months.

Yep.

You could always tie the two in together...maybe have Flynn and his crew bopping around the Internet in the movie, while Jet is busy on the ENCOM system in the game...with fCon as the villainous entity of both?
