Just caught this now, but I was already scoping out stores to see what kind of treatment Tron was getting (and to try and find someone who'd be nice enough to give me some of the promo paraphenalia when they were done with it - nothing gained with that part yet)

Most points awared goes to CompUSA and Gamestop. At the front of the game section, a CompUSA in northern NJ had the cardboard display shelf , a couple letter-sized Jet posters, and right next to the display, their 'game test-drive' computer was running the demo.

COming Just under that is Gamestop at a mall in Buffalo, NY. During the presell period, they had a bunch of presell boxes at center-stage in the window of an vacant store (that currently gets used to promote stores who want to use it).

Media Play in Buffalo also had the cool display shelf.

Near the back is EB games. A single Jet poster under the games, which were in a 'somewhat' prominent area. Nothing special though. I think someone alread said that EB couldn't put up Tron displays yet though because of other obligations. I'll go look again today.

No points to Circuit City in NJ. It was just stuck in among all the other games, only a couple boxes. You never would've known it was a new release.

wait...wait...I just saw a very large color cardboard advertisement of the new tron 2.0 game and it is about 5 to 6 feet tall in the Montgomeryville Mall in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

I bought the game on Ebay through this sites link and have discovered that my new Dell computer I got a month ago through Dell can not handle any of the games graphics since I don't have a Graphics or ActiveX Card installed, "crying", does anyone have a suggestion?

Also I have seen the game on shelves in the local gamestops 35 miles northeast of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the store associates recognize the name when asked about it, cool.

Actually found mine at Wal-Mart for the first day release. Weird, but they always have it first. They had it set up right next to TRON the 20th anniv edition so I bought 'em both!

I'm seeing it pop up in more places, and it seems to be selling well in the Minneapolis area.

I've only seen one JET cardboard guy, and that's in the electronics boutique in a smaller mall near work. They're considering letting me have him when they replace it. My wife on the other hand....

The tags are not metal, they're plastic. The image has very glitery metalic paint to really make it shine. The Jet image is printed on the front of the transparent palstic without metalic while the shiney backgound is printed on the back to show throught the front.
