I am going to Walt Disney World soon (6th time now!! ) and I was wondering if there are any known Tron arcades there? If not is there any place where they have classic arcades (like in the resorts)?
Also would they accept quarters or do you have to buy tokens?
Sorry, I know this has been answered before but I couldn't find it anywhere!

They have a lot of quarter arcades in the parks and resorts. I never looked around for a Tron machine tho.

I google searched that and found some places that say there is a Tron arcade game there along with many of the old games like pacman, frogger, etc. But those sites are a few years old from the looks of it, the place might not be there anymore.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online Thanks to FlynnOne for the signature!

TRON is still in DisneyQuest. at least it was very recently according to a video walkthrough on youtube. I wouldn't worry, DisneyQuest hasn't been updated in years(they have an attraction based on the Mighty Ducks animated series..) I plan on going soon, just to play my first TRON arcade machine :-).

I was there in January. The Discs of Tron arcade machine was there. It had the Tron arcade handle on it. That made it very uncomfortable to play. I didn't even finish a round and walked away from it. Whoever they have doing the repairs doesn't know what he/she is doing. That, or Disney is being cheap and wont invest in authentic equipment. One of the Tron arcades used a black stick. Probably purchased from Happ. Maybe they've corrected it since then.
Some friends have been telling me of some arcades geared toward adults in the Orlando area. Maybe, you'd have better chances of finding a Tron arcade in good shape to play there instead.

the fact that you have to pay an additional fee is bullshit. Sure it's great for 40$ and they actually have games you want to play & all but for some cheapies & SOME retro gaming action amongst some nick nack stuff, it's not worth it Especially after having already paid for park tickets, food, snacks, parking, hotel & souvenirs, hell no. it should be Included! Maybe that's why that Kat chick that's here is so damn bitter about disney amongst other things she dislikes about them.

My family and I always enjoy it there. But, as far as the parks go, we get in for free. So, we don't mind paying for Disney Quest. If you go to Disney Quest, you have to make a full day of it and not treat it as simply an arcade.
Now when it comes to the arcades in the theme parks, I agree. Those should be for free. How much does it cost to take care of an arcade when compared to the rides? But, that's Disney logic. For some time now Disney Quest at Downtown Disney Orlando has had a entire floor dedicated to *Classic Arcade Games*...the second floor i believe. I glanced over one of their brocheres to the building last year when i was in town and was happy to see the second floor tribute still there.
I have been to WDW multiple times on my own, but never to Disney Quest. Just did not really have the interest...and the additonal entrance fee to play what are mostly games i can play in the arcades at home made it less appealing. I am lucky to have several excellent classic-old-school arcades in my area so i can get my fix every so often.
Not sure if they still have the TRON upright, but as others have mentioned it may well still be there but in rough condition. Our local machines in my area are also in rough shape, but are certainly playable.
Hotels on Disney Property at WDW all have their own arcades, and many feature a nice mix of currant, redemption skill games, and classic arcades titles. The Value Resorts in particular have a nice selection of classics such as Centipede, Defender, Donkey Kong, and Pac-Man. All of them however require Game Cards to play, which you load with money from a vending maching in the aracade. These can be used all around property to play the games...so no coins are needed.
For several years now a lot of us serious WDW fans have been clamouring for a TRON themed arcade area near Space Mountain in TomorrowLand. The currant one is a waste of space really, and with a little retheming it could easily be turned into a full-blown FLYNN*S and become a attraction in its own right. The Flynn*s Arcade that was set up at DisneyLand in CA for ElecTRONica was spectacular from a Tron Fan standpoint....and it was a proven success. Why is Disney dragging it*s feet to copy it and send it East? Copying attractions that are successful seems to be their thing these days.....( watch for CarsLand at Hollywood Studios in a year or two...)where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Okay, so now that we've gotten the roasting out of the way...
"that Kat chick" is not "so damn bitter" about Disney. "That Kat chick" stated ONCE that she had no desire to go to the park and overpay to stand in lines for hours with screeching kids all day (especially when there are good parks closer that cost less), and was jumped on as if she said she had no desire to wake up in the morning. I wouldn't call that "so damn bitter," I'd call that "defending a simple choice not to go somewhere" the same as you would if you said you didn't want to go to a waterpark or a Britney Spears concert or [insert any other destination of your choice here] and I acted like you'd just shat in the holy grail for thinking so. If I'm "so damn bitter," what does that make all of the people having hairy conniptions about elecTRONica being shut down and the like?
Okay all, carry on with thread. Just needed to clear that up.
Now carry on, all.
