I walked into a Fry's store in Burbank today to buy a USB 2.0 hub. Just for giggles, I walked into the games section to see what was new. NEW GAMES, not the bargain basement. What did I see sitting on the shelf next to all the nice shiny new games?

Six copies of TRON 2.0! SIX!

It made me proud to see something I worked so hard to help make great still on sale in the frontline part of the store.

I have to say that one of the most painful experieinces for someone in my line of work is seeing your games in a bargain bin.

Whether you design them, sell them or test them, it hurts to see something you practically sweated blood to get out into the world being sold for a buck with things like 'The Olsen Twins Play Verterinarian' or crap like that.

The first time I saw Mechwarrior II in a bargain bin I teared up. Sentimental fool.

That's awesome to hear! I've never seen Tron 2.0 on sale in a store before, but I'm not in game stores very often (I mean, what else is the internet for? ). Simple. Many people don't - or didn't at the time of the game's release - have a PC powerful enough to run the game; not all of us are PC gamers.

BTW, I recently bought another copy of TRON 2.0 for myself as a backup. That makes three copies in total that I've purchased: One at full price upon release along with a copy of the strategy guide, one at $20.00 as a gift for a friend, and this latest backup copy at $5.00.

I got you beat, I bought a copy for me when that thing came out, shelved it pretty quick after getting beat to death in derez, 3 years later bought two friends a copy, then myself a Mac copy for when I'm at the relatives. The strategy guide is great as a collector's item, it has a lot of nice artwork and screenshots. But as a "strategy" and walkthrough guide, it's seriously lacking.

Trori, the answers to all of you problems is a joystick. I heavily reccomend the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It is the best and most perfect joystick ever.
