Mr. Sinistar Wroteo you find this funny?

No, but humor is like art. It depends on the perception of the individual and not necessarily the group.

That's a good point; I never thought of it like that. I guess that could also explain why we like TRON so much, while other people don't care for it.

For me, I find this video funny not because of the song, but the groaning and "squeeking" of the singer. That last sound he makes at the very end of the video makes me completely lose it.

I have a great sense of humor (if I do say so myself) but I found that to be utterly unfunny.

I can appreciate the weirdness of this video clip. A guy on stage, awkwardly singing a very absurd & meaningless song. Throw in some cheesy visual effects and there you have a nice work of bizarreness. I love strange and unusual things and can appreciate it on that level.

On the humor end... I didn't get it. I watched it last night originally and got worried. I was a little worried because I didn't get it.

This morning at work, I looked up this clip and found it to be part of an actual show? What? A whole show of this kind of stuff? A show that is seemingly popular with many. That got me even more worried.

I showed the clip to John and Ron (yes, the guys from my QuickVids). Neither one of them cracked a smile, which made me actually laugh out loud. I laughed at this point out of relief and a little bit of embarrassment that I just made them watch something like that.

I was relieved to know it's not just me. I didn't get it, and neither did they.

Whew!

Being someone who dabbles entertainment, things like this really make me scratch my head and make me feel as if my own entertainment tactics are that of an dinosaur in this modern era of humor that I just don't get. If this is what funny is now, I may as well throw in the towel and give up. I do however favor this very strange humor over the increasingly violent form of entertainment that seems to be very popular as well. Not against violence in entertainment, just think there's a bit too much of it in "humor" these days, but that is a completely different subject.

I am very relieved to see that not only do my co-workers not get/dig this, but people here do not either... well, except for a couple of you - which is perfectly ok. We've all got our own tastes in things. I just didn't want to be the only guy who didn't get it.

Well, I hope my appreciation for this type of humor will be just a phase and will go away soon. My mom told me that she remember's TV shows and movies from the '70s or '80s that at that time she thought were hilarious, but now she doesn't think they're funny anymore.

I watched an episode from "Tim & Eric's Awesome Show, Great Job!" on AdultSwim.com, and 99% of the show was really stupid. The only stuff that I found funny were the segment above and a skit feature "Werid Al" Yankovic dancing.

To tell you the truth, I hope this type of humor is just a cult and won't last for long. I say this because, I realized that if this stuff becomes mainstream TV, we'll lose stuff that is truly funny TV, like Three Stooges or Seinfeld or the other great acts out there.

Well, after all that feedback from you guys, I feel like I want apologize to everyone who watched the clip. LOL

Sorry for making you watch it guys.

I agree.

By no means does weirdness necessarily equal funny. Also, I'm no fan of weirdness just for its own sake.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Sorry for making you watch it guys.

There's nothing to apologize for, Mr. Sinistar. We're all here to share things with each other. We obviously have many things in common in addition to TRON. Sometimes we don't, and there's nothing wrong with that. You put stuff out there and sometimes people dig it and sometimes they don't. It does not mean that you should not dig it, nor does it mean we think any less of you for digging it. You dig? Just wanted to say "dig" again. I really dig it.

Dig. Dig... ok, now it just sounds funny.

You know - I think that explains a lot. Yes, it makes a lot more sense when you think of it in that light.

I laughed, but only because it was stupid and not funny. It was utterly absurd, and I laughed while thinking to myself "WTF is this?".
